Has the 18 yard box at deepdale just suddenly grown. But saying that the way Lonners plays he was probably starting off from the stand to go for the ball, Or perhaps us having a 30 yard 18yard box is why Lonners cannot control his box, It is because it is twice the size of the box anywhere else 🙄

st ledger at fault for the first, any keeper has to be second fav in a one on one, sorry that goal was schoolboy defending.

Any decent keeper would have been reading the situation and been reacting straight away. Dopey twat in our nets doesn't seem able to do this. I'm getting pretty fed up with the constant backing all the thick cunts on here give him.

He's 6'4" and he's shit scared about coming off his line for the ball. His positioning is shite, he can't catch a ball and his reactions are declining by the game but hey, if he stands there shaking his head for 10 mins after every fuck up he makes then that's alright because don't forget, he's Preston through and through.

For the last 4 games he's cost us a goal in every single match.

Having watched the replays he could've done better for the 1st goal but how you can blame him for the 2nd is beyond me.

Doesn't matter anyway - we're down.

How did a header with hardly any pace on it manage to beat him? His positioning was crap as was the pathetic dive he made in trying to save it. Does he know he can actually move his feet?

It seemed to me to pick up pace off the wet surface. Maybe he should've saved it, who knows?

Either way there were far far worse players on show yesterday & have been all season.

give all the abuse you want buddy, your looking in the wrong place if you blame the goalie for that. a centre half needs to be able to deal with that ball, ledger failed to do his job, NOT goalies fault.
If you hate lonergan so much, fair enough, just say so, but dont fool yourself into not looking at what actually happened here.

So you're saying that a GK should not be alert to a situation if the defender misreads the flight of the ball?

If you say no, you're a liar.

If you say lonergan had no chance of getting the ball yesterday, you're a liar.

Lonergan wasn't fully to blame but he was in a position to do something about it whereas SSL wasn't, yet he dithered about and let them in for a simple goal.

If you say that first goal would have been scored had st ledger done his job and dealt with that as he should easily have done, your a liar.

Perhaps it didnt read clearly, but in essence what i said was this..... if you say that they would have scored the first goal, had st ledger not made an error, then you're lieing.

The point here is that I can give out blame and praise where its due. Lonergan could have come out for the first quicker, but it was down to st ledger that they scored. Lonergan made a weak punch for the second, fair enough, thats what i think. Wayne Brown was at fault for the 3rd. Our strikers and midfielders missed guilt edged chances. Our manager made a bad tactical move. These are all the reasons why we lost. You cannot consistently blame one person for all defeats. We havent scored in our last 2 matches, that would probably have helped and its not lonergans fault.

The shit dive and lack of footwork were fuck all compared to the pathetic punch that led to the goal, fucking hell it was straight at him at chest height and the useless cunt punches it instead of taking the worlds simplest catch. I fucking despair of the hopeless twat, and people still worship him, absolutely baffling.

One of the worst keepers we've ever had, and to make it worse he thinks he's the fucking dogs bollocks.
