Robins made a statement yesterday saying it's mall just speculation and rumours and theres no truth in it so i don't think so, when we brought him in he said 'i've got a long term vision and plan for the club' obviously that's just words but i hope he sticks to what he says which so far he has done.

People have been saying that he is the reason we've done so well recently but thats false, we've managed to create the chances for him to score and thats what we had lacked untill he turned up, now he's gone , we've acted quickly and brought in leon clarke on a 2 and a half year contract, now i haven't seen much of him but robins believes he will be just as good as MCG if not better but also stated that we will need to cross the ball more.
Thats been our problem mate. Making chances but nobody to finish them. Clarke was with us for a while and he was rubbish. But hes done well at Scunny. I wouldnt put him in the same boat as Mcgoldrick,thats why he went Ipswich and Clarke was at Scunny,Mcgoldrick is alot better;-)
When Clarke was on loan at PNE under Brown he was really awful.
I'll have your word on that pal haha, i've not seen clarke play so i can't comment on how well he has done but if he can score plenty of goals for us then i suppose it doesn't matter about anything else and any club's fans in this league would probably have the same opinion if they can score goals and help you to promotion or do very well you can't argue with that.

Very true mate. Perhaps Clarke has found his level. We were in the Champ when he was with us. Problem is for you and us is we are brassic and goalscoring Strikers at any level cost money;-)

he's not a starter for us just yet whether he will ever be im not quite sure but yeah he's a lightweight, can't head a ball and doesn't seem to want to tackle, very creative and can score some good quality goals and many of our fans are not taken by him, very mixed feelings although i feel he will become good for us under MR
Pretty much what he was like with us!!
I thought towards the end of his career with us he started to become a bit tougher. He was going in with his head and going in for tackles (which ended in that bad injury) but it seems that he's gone backwards again. Like you say he's a luxury as I'd call it, can make very tidy nice precise passes, can score a good goal, a player you'd like if you we're 3-0 up. He's not one for a 0-0, away at Carlisle on a cold December midweek game.
He aint changed much then. He seems to have potential but never lives upto it. I wanted him to stay as i thought hed come good but it seems he might never. He was starting to tackle more then he got a terrible broken leg at Deepdale V Walsall last season.

How long is it since you played at Highfield Road Cov? Had a few interesting trips there down the years.
7 years , i didn't want us to leave there unfortunately as i'm 16 i only got too a few games back then before we moved loved the ground really did, proper ground it was i'd prefer that than to ricoh arena
