Just read it all, be interesting to read the perspectives haha
Player development and trading, ridsdales role in that didn't really stick out tbf. Sounds like Craig hemmings continues to be a enthusiastic (how I read it) 'custodian' well Craig you're allowing ridsdale to waste your fucking custodianship. Get fucking rid.

An open letter dealt with behind closed doors. Just the way the club likes it. The timing of the financial statement told us exactly what Craig and co think of any fan criticism.
The summary of the meeting posted above reads like a glorified PSC meeting, where key points are batted away and the club will just implement the smallest / easiest changes and forget about the rest.
If we want to see actual change, it sadly won't be found sat around a table.

Appreciate all the effort you have made (again) JK and to those from PSC too.
Sadly Craig's comments don't really placate me and in fact just convince me he is as just to blame as Ridsdale.
All I get overall is that it will be more of the same.

Thank you John and others who attended and thank you for the summary.
I can't help but agree with your conclusion
What gets me is that
1) No time lines
2) No idea what the plan is
3) Still blaming FFP for non-FFP matters
At least I get a stronger sense that Craig is accountable for things and Ridsdale is a law unto himself as to how he conducts himself. Although it now begs the question what the point of Ridsdale is.
Thank you for your efforts. Feels like more action is needed to actually change anything though.

it is clear that there are significant challenges ahead for the club if it is to restore the faith of its supporters.

Welll done to all the people involved in this meeting.
It's obviously only Step 1, but it feels as though further steps could be worthwhile, as long as Ridsdale is kept away from the process, and the whole thing isn't offloaded onto Ben Rhodes. Unless Craig stays involved, I don't think there is any credibility in further dialogue.
Also a reminder of the tagline - Time for Action - what actions are now to be taken by Craig?
Craig also needs to avoid reaching for the easy lies, especially here: "although [Craig] also mentioned that any investments in stadium maintenance would have to be carefully considered alongside player signings due to the constraints of Financial Fair Play (FFP). Hemmings was keen to advise that whilst stadium infrastructure costs are not part of FFP, it all comes from one budget, ..."
All Craig had to do here was tell the plain truth - cut all the FFP talk, because that's completely irrelevant to stadium maintenance, and just a Ridsdale media line to trot out; and simply admit there is not enough money to do these things, that's why they're not being done.
I think Craig would get a lot more respect in general if he didn't sound so much like Ridsdale.

However, despite these conversations, the team’s performances were poor, and it was clear that the players’ commitment was lacking in the final games. Hemmings referred to it as an “unacceptable” end to the season, he also was angered by comments in the media from some players that “there was nothing to play for.”
...
As for the club's current squad, Hemmings expressed a desire to retain some of the out-of-contract players
Wait hold up
So it was unacceptable for the players to down tools but we want to extend some of them anyway.
Just what are the consequences for unacceptable behaviour? Lowe didn't face any consequences and nor are the players.

Well done all who contributed to the meeting and also those who attended to put our concerns across. Whilst I feel nothing will change in the short term I feel Craig now knows he cannot take our support for granted. Now my main concern is do I wear my ‘Ridsdale Out’ T-Shirt in front of The Riddler at the Leeds game.
Does Craig think Peter is doing a good job or not? what’s his opinion on the matter?, the fans aren’t fuming for no reason, does he just wear Rose tinted glasses and not see any faults at all, Peters track record at other clubs wasn’t great either I’m surprised he managed to secure himself another job in the first place.
C’mon Craig give your head a wobble and get feckin rid of him, surely you can get someone cheaper to his job.

So...
About Ryan Lowe leaving...
Either Craig Hemmings is lying, or Peter Ridsdale is lying.
About Ryan Lowe leaving...
Either Craig Hemmings is lying, or Peter Ridsdale is lying.
It was revealed that after the opening day defeat to Sheffield United, Ryan Lowe requested to leave the club. Hemmings confirmed that, after this request, both he and Peter Ridsdale respected Lowe’s decision, despite the fact that he had previously been given the chance to continue into the new season. No attempt was made to convince him otherwise, and that Peter’s interview on a national radio station was not helpful and understood the fans frustration on the matter.

As I suggested at the time, I bet they actually spent 4 hours haggling over Lowe's separation package.

Same old, same old for me.
Appreciate the effort everyone has put in but when are people going to realise that these little meetings do absolutely nothing and haven’t for the last 2/3 years?
Personally, I wouldn’t have accepted the meeting and gone to the next stage (whatever that may be) as clearly, they don’t work.
He has a right of reply though so it’s fair enough I guess.
Absolutely brilliant that Riddler has gone on national radio and said something that isn’t true but gets no sort of backlash from it? My betting is that someone, somewhere has been telling a few porkies (another reason why I wouldn’t get in dialogue with either of these two. Liars).
Peter is probably laughing his head off. He’s so far in Craig’s pocket it’s untrue.

Which begs the question, what next? No commitment to developing the academy, no change to priorities on spending, no change to Riddler’s role at the club and no commitment to improve the fan experience.I appreciate Craig spending the time talking to you guys, but none of that makes me feel anything is likely to change, we'll just carry on as before

Well done for trying, you got lip service from Craig who told you what he had to do to get the meeting over. The open letter has achieved the square root of fuck all as far as any changes go but genuinely thank you for trying. Craig has either lied to your faces in defending Ridsdale or Ridsdale has been lying to us all. It’s that simple. Peter tells how he does XY and Z and signs off on all deals, the club even put out a statement about our “streamlined” approach to transfers this week. Craig’s response is that’s not true and Peter doesn’t do all that he says he does.
Only way we as fans can have any impact on the senior management is either a concerted protest against Ridsdale who we all know is the real problem or by not renewing season tickets next season. We could have course be in league 1 by then anyway.
Would love to hear your views JK about how you feel it went other than in a formal letter.

That's the thing, the apathy goes beyond the end of last season. It's the years of stagnation and lack of investment in January windows when we were in a strong position. That's why it's "time for action" rather than "let's try a bit better next time"Which begs the question, what next? No commitment to developing the academy, no change to priorities on spending, no change to Riddler’s role at the club and no commitment to improve the fan experience.

Is it time to get very explicit in what the support want see happen?
We've long list of moans. All legitimate. But serve to dilute and help them to evade getting into a real discussion.
Ridsdale out would be my next move by this group. Need to get the message.
As I suggested at the time, I bet they actually spent 4 hours haggling over Lowe's separation package.
I think that was the obvious scenario, but not what Ridsdale said on National Radio.
There has been a number of incidents that have not been helpful, for example the insulting April Fools joke, the comments about our defence and WhatsApp issues. So the question is, "Is Ridsdale's position ever under review and how is he performance managed?"
Whilst I appreciate the time and effort that has gone in, for me nothing has changed.

Well that certainly hasn’t appeased my appetite for change.
He was never going to say anything different was he?
But he’s been given the opportunity to, fair play to those for trying .
I’m presuming stadium protests is next? Not turning up? Something needs sorting and quickly .
