Tottenham at Deepdale (Carling Cup Draw)

[Wesley II]

North End have an away game at Leicester on the Saturday after - hardly ideal following a Wednesday night cup game which could got to extra time and pens.
Do PNE get any of the TV money Spurs get for playing late on a Sunday afternoon? We should have stuck to Tuesday.

But, surely it wasn't our decision alone, I think Spurs had to agree terms. 😕

Unfortunately several thousand others feel the same, hence why we won't be signing any fucker today.

Like Collins you mean? 😱

Disappointed they've not lowered prices to get a full house. At these prices I think we'll have a crowd of about 16k.

League Cup 1971/72. Replay. Venue Deepdale. Att' 28,000 plus. Opponents? Tottenham Hotspur.
Other opponents. Contingent of Lashers who, with the few Spurs fans that bothered, got a good talking to.
