Voldemort's Return

Voldemort's Return

The point is Danny is how we as a club have the ability to get the worst out of good players.
And before Carroll there was the likes of Etuhu.

swings and roundabouts isnt it. Chucking an 18 year old with no first team experience into a poor side you are very rarely gonna see the best of him, but on the flipside we've also incorporated some decent young players at times. Even this season we've seen Treacy impress fairly regularly and Barton impress, albeit with less regularity (and Treacy has had some experience before).

I have to say though, dismissing a young player after 7 or 8 starts as completely awful is a pretty odd thing to do, even if they do have the weight of "prem expectation" over them.

How so very predictable the responses from the likes of Albertan have been. OK let's spell it out for you as you are too dense to understand and here's the challenge:

1. One of my detractors to post up here a thread where I advocated trhowing in the entire youth team.

2. Did I or did I not argue during the summer we needed a "Dave Mackay" type player to orchestrate, cajole and direct the youngsters ? Russell is not and was never going to be that player.

3. As I recall it I argued for 3 youngsters to be thrown in i.e. McLaughlin, Mayor and Proctor. One of you tell me how that constitutes the entire team being comprised of our youths ?

With regards to our youths even I know that we now can't throw them in. The time isn't right because they are surrounded by clowns. And if it comes down to the fact that none of McLaughlin, Miller, Barton, Mayor or Proctor make it then that's it, we may as well fold the youth system. Before that however I would put Unsworth back in charge of their development.

As for clapping Lindsay ? At the end of the meeting I provided polite applause for him having the balls to front it out (I don't recall urging the mob on to "3 cheers for Maurice, Hip, hip....." Just before that when Lindsay was asking for the last question I pointed him to Billymacc who was standing right next to me as I knew he was going to fire off a beauty.

Still I'm dealing with the ministry of disinformation in that so many of you chaps just can't report it as it is. The reason youfail so miserably is that you aren't up to it.

A simple search throws up this from you Voldemort....

No more debate about "experience" just accept that you haven't a clue what you're on about and in relation to PNE it's time for McLaughlin, Miller, Barton, Mayor and Proctor to be given their opportunity. They are the club's future and Fergy must show he's going for revolutiion and not evolution.

Now that's five you said we should play cha.

I've left this MB for several months and just what has happened ? Where is all the good quality serious debate in this our moment of crisis ?

The lowdown is this. From my own personal point of view when Irvine was quite correctly potted I wanted Micky Appleton to replace him. Instead Hemmings went for Ferguson. Accordingly many of us got behind him, myself included. Indeed he talked a good game and his ideals of wanting to play attacking football was what most of us wanted to hear. I was prepared to give him until the end of last season to sort things out and in that time I was prepared to see a few hammerings. He didn't disappoint. This scenario was not however supposed to encroach into the current campaign and I knew things were about to go wrong when he threw away £400K on the inept Morgan who has achieved the impossible i.e. he's even worse than Collins! An inbound Brown merely served to confirm my suspicions in that we had a clown in charge. Subsequent events have proven me right in that PNE are no longer a football club they have been reduced to the laughing stock of the championship and now enjoy the status of being a travelling circus. If a team has been on a bad run all they need do is look at the fixture list and they know that when PNE are served up on a plate that bad run will come to an end.

Those of you who attended the meeting with Lindsay heard my solution which was to appoint Appleton to the role of 1st team coach. This would provide the opportunity for the club to slowly but surely force Ferguson out and allow him to save face.Lindsay suggested they weren't happy with Fergy's backroom staff and talked about him raising the bar. Since then absolutely nothing has happened resulting instead with many fans heading for the bar.

That we are already down is certain, This fear was confirmed for me after enduring the 2:3 home defeat v Scunthorpe who had played us off the park. True to form that night Morgan proved that he wasn't a professional footballer but none other than Coco the Clown. There was no cohesion, no sense of purpose. It was a complete and utter shambles.

I've seen this all before and it's too painful to endure. We are already down and I've now accepted that in my lifetime I will never see PNE in the top flight. Three men have been mainly responsible for this lamentable scenario i.e. Simpson, Irvine and then Ferguson. Every last one of them incompetent. Every last one of them has undone the fine work that had been put in by Moyes and Davies over almost a decade.

Once the inevitable happens and we go down PNE will remain there for the next decade.
The game's up and there's no coming back from this one.As for Fergy ? Up until a few weeks ago he talked a superb game but ultimately he has been exposed as a fraud. One who is totally incapable of transferring his ideas on to the pitch.

You told us Danny Night Mayor would be the greatest footballer ever to pull on the lilywhite shirt. In reality, he's the worst - dwells in possession, lightweight, gifts goals to the opposition, a complete liability. Given your track record on this, there's only place your next equally misguided, foolish recommendations are heading.

I thought you said the club was no more if Ferguson failed. Last chance saloon and all that. Have you decided there's now a plan B after all? 😱

BSK he's still only 20. He has time and cretins like you should be encouraging him. But tell me about this little lot Sonny Jim:

Hart lost £100K
Henderson lost £200K excluding his wages
Morgan lost £400K excluding his wages
Hayes lost £200K excluding his wages
Russell will lose us £200K excluding his wages
Chaplow lost £1 million excluding his £10K a week
Carter lost £1 million excluding his wages
Brown lost £400k excluding his wages
Shumulikoski lost £350K excluding his wages and pay off
Parry lost £200k excluding his wages

On almost every last one of these I was right. Indeed I remember warning you all during the summer about the imminent disaster of Hayes and Morgan. I also rememebr the summer before going bollistic on here when Irvine signed the ageing Shumulikoski and Parry ahead of Adam.

As for Mossy thinking he's got me cornered about Miller, McLaughlin, Proctor, Barton and Mayor, well you haven't Sonny Jim because of the following:

1. I was referring to the last 3 games of last season when blooding them didn't matter. To hell with the results as we were safe.It was far more important to find out what they could do.

2. For this season and here's where you show yourself up I argued that we bring in at most 3 youngsters BUT we would need a Dave Mackay governor to control them on the pitch.

Just think MossyWossy I actually had you scampering through all those postings to find your conclusive evidence and then you go and blow it by being somewhat selective. Some things on here simply don't change.

As for you BSK I now think with Fergy failing the club is about to be consigned to the lower levels for the next decade. Relegation is a certainty. Fergy has completely and utterly screwed up BUT your saviour Irvine was the one who was really responsible for finishing us off ably abetted by Simpson. That being so BSK you have absolutely nothing to crow about.

Terrible comment! Andy carroll has improved signicantly year by year and is still improving so four(?) years ago he was obviously never going to be anywhere near as good otherwise he wouldn't have been loaned out in the 1st place!

I get it now KessyWessy, I prove you completely wrong but you then move the goal posts to try and worm out of it.

Nice move fella.

And as I stated, a simple search that took all of 3 Min's has shown you to be a idiot, so just think what I could do if I put my mind to it.

Now that's you dealt with boy.

In the interest of the forums good morale could we have Pol Pots view on Voldemort's return and or new? opinions. 😀

Dont nessesarily agree with all or even any of that but its a good, thoughtful post nonetheless
Still think df can save us and take us forward but that confidence boosting win to turn our fortunes around better come mighty quick

The fee paid for Morgan is a long way short of £400k. He would have to play an awful lot of games and we would have to be promoted!

Total transfer fees under Ferguson amount to £300k only in total and this includes Morgan, Coutts and Treacy.

Mossy, sure you did matery. Just continue deluding yourself.

Now you can go through the entire list I've provided of abject failures and explain how three
"professional" managers could screw up so bigt time ? Or tell me Sonny Jim are you now going
to deny I ever criticised the signing of those players ? You know what to do. Off you go and delve
through my postings. The copy and paste up here. I think I'll appoint you as my resident archivist.

You're getting good at showing him up Mossy lad. Keep up the good work.

Just wondering if this Mossy character is actually posting anything about football or PNE yet?

I wouldn't know as the twat is exactly where he belongs.........firmly under the ignore button.

Oh i dunno about that "albert"....by having him on ignore i think you are missing out on many a good laugh whenever mossy posts summat😀
I can recommend shakys and andy savilles posts too, always great comedy entertainment

Here speaks someone who hasn't seen us live in the last 11 months.

and how disappointed I am, neither Baldygit nor Mossyman have been able to come back with a response. The FACT is I argued for O'Driscoll to be appointed now tell me was I

1. wrong ?

2. right ?

The reason you haven't come back at me is that it's well documented on here I went on the warpath BEFORE the event about the signings of Shumulikoski, Parry, Morgan, Hayes et al. Indeed I remember how so many of you were cooing in true blind faith grovelling mode about the none existent prowess of Hayes. This forward you all wanted is unique in that when he runs for the ball he actually de-celerates! How could a professional manager get it so hopelessly wrong ? Now let's make it easy for Baldygit and Mossy. Tell me how I was wrong about the following players;

1. Shumulikoski ?

2. Parry ?

3. Morgan ? For the same fee we could have signed Dawson from Rochdale who's now been signed by WBA after Micky Appleton had checked him out.

4. Hayes ?

Full explanation required chaps. This should be highly entertaining as these were the very players who were supposed to add "experience."

As for Fergy's latest comments about returning to ugly football ala Irvine style ? and there we have it, the guy has completely lost it. For the first time in 42 years supporting PNE I've missed the last three home games which I could have attended. I and many others will not be returning until this clown has gone. Sobering to think that this twit has driven away 5,000 PNE fans. It must be the most dramatic collapse in support in our entire history. Perhaps our resident stato Albertan can confirm this ?

It's not "if" we are relagated it's "when" we are relegated which is possibly part of the 3 year plan that hasn't been comunicated to us. It looks to me as though the club are planning to go down and start all over again.
