if the rumour about dickinson from stoke is true then i think brown can be a good signing by adding experience to a young back four.

when do the squad go to spain? will there be enough time for a couple of signings to travel

Thought he was quite good when on loan with us but not a signing that I'm particularly impressed with if it comes off. Especially if the rumours about him are true. Would much rather have Mawene.

Opinions are just that I suppose n a lot can change in 18 months or however long it was since he came on loan. He's not a footballer by any stretch of the imagination. He's an old school centre half. Might be good for us

Sorry, but how many times did we let leads slip at the back end of the season? We were far too soft defensively, and bringing in hard nuts like Brown and Dickinson will be great for us.

Not only is he shit...

Surely bringing this "man" in would have a detrimental effect when it comes to future signings.

I cba with a big debate but I see this whole issue about him voting BNP as being irrelevant. People will be able to search the full details if they want but from what I remember he made a comment about immigrants ruining our country.

I think a lot of people feel like that about immigrants who come to the UK and live off the state. I'm not stating my own political views but I think the furore at Leicester was making Everest out of a molehill.

he was good for us, and its worth remembering he came into a team that couldnt buy a win at the time. We lost 6 out of 7 before his arrival and went on to Win 3, Draw 2 and Lose 1 of the 6 games he was here.

granted there were other issues, namely the return of chaplow, Chris Brown and davidson (who were all key players at that time) who had all been absent during that run in sep and oct 08 when we were completly gash before Brown came. But undoubtedly Brown did play a big part in that turnaround from guaranteed relegation form to probable automatic promotion form.

its also worth remembering that he played a big part in Leicesters resurgance and play off bid last season, so much so that his falling out was credited with being one of the big reasons they didnt make it.

From a footballing perspective, id have absolutly no problems whatsoever with us signing Brown.

Agreed. He's a decent player, certainly decent enough for us in our present situation.

Same here.

Would have been 3 promotions in a row had Leicester gone up wouldn't it?

What a cunt!

It's not the fact that he voted BNP. It's the fucking moronic "ethnic minorities are killing this country" comment.

Stupid bastard.
I see you're "quoting", whereas the Daily Mail (an awful paper) hasn't got a single quote except: "Any alleged incidents will be investigated and dealt with internally"

I'm not for one minute condoning what he's alleged to have said, but nobody except who was in that dressing room knows exactly what happened. Regardless, on the pitch, who cares?
