Why do you say they are not going to be as good? Most of the people I talk to are all in favour of selling the high earning non-transfer-lisred players like SSL, Lonergan and Parkin. None of them were that impressive last year and, if they are replaced by lower earning and hungry players, we could see a far more motivated and successful team.

The wage bill would be massively reduced, particlarly if all/most of the listed 8 go as well, and the transfer fees received will boost the coffers and enable fees, albeit lower, to be paid for some of the replacements.
