What Next ?

If Derek Shaw is here another two weeks I will be shocked. I believe his position has now become untenable and the pressure from the fans this time will prove too much if he doesn't decide to step down of his own accord.

I think the time has come for change, the Blackpool result has angered a lot of supporters and prompted this pressure on his position but we cannot continue going along like this. We need some charisma, some can-do attitude, some positive PR and speak coming from board level and the fans imaginations need to be caught again. The faith in Derek Shaw has been lost.

It is time for change. I do not accept that nobody will take the position if he leaves. What a load of complete tosh. Why do we have a Deputy Chairman if nobody will take the position if he left? If David Taylor doesn't take the position, Hemmings son or a sound business brain cannot be sought in the city of Preston then it truely is a sad state of affairs.

Never felt like I had this afternoon before as I'm sure a lot of PNE fans were the same, something needs to change and now.

Shaw needs to go, need a fresh approach, PNE fans can't take this small club bullshit anymore, we've been mis-mananged yes but we have a decent manager now and it's time to back him and get us promoted next season, if Blackpool can we certainly can.

Think our secret weapon could be fergie who has the eye for talent from the lower leagues, if he can pluck out a few gems for the summer we could be on our way.

Bottom line is I've never felt so sick or pissed of as a PNE fan as I have today. 🙁

I would say that given £3 million for new players Fergy could pull off the miracle we all crave. The fact is however the whole club needs re-organising from top to bottom. We need a new killer attitude of "We will do it." It's time to appoint David Taylor or one of Hemmings's sons. Failing that I'm more than capable of implementing the required changes myself.

And here's me thinking that nothing could make me smile today. Blackpool may have 90 million due their way and home games against Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea etc to look forward to, but we still have our resident egomaniac madman to keep us entertained during the undoubtedly hard times ahead 😀

Keasden so mad that almost everything I told you would happed did happen. If I'm "mad" you are insane know wot I mean!

Remember this "mad" man posting up here last summer demanding we sign Adam ? What was it you were saying "Leave it to Irvine, the professionals know what they're doing." Yeah and in came Shumulikoski along with Parry.

Total joke.

Come on Boggy tell everyone about my CV ? You've got all day. I cannot wait for this one.

Voldemort, please take my word for it that nobody around here gives two shits about your cv. Now will you kindly shut the fuck up about it?

Thanks

As for BSK ? You've got a cheek slithering on here like a slimey snake after your almighty balls up over Irvine. Yep, £500K on Dawson, £250K on Easton, McCann (Free), Schmichael (free), Cathcart (loan) and King (loan). I make that well within my £3 millon budget because what you don't know old cretin chops is that Man Utd pay the wages of our loan signings. Tell me did Irvine ever pull that one off with Moyes ? Did he fcku because he proved incapable of getting a single loan signing from his old "mate" at Everton.

You've missed the point as usual. I'm not disputing we could put a side together capable of promotion by splashing out 3million on new players, you seem to be ignoring the fact though that we don't have 3 million, we don't have 250k for Easton, we don't have 500k for Dawson, we don't even have the much smaller amount required by the Inland Revenue! 😱 So what's the point of putting a wanted list together based on a budget we clearly don't have?

As for Irvine not getting Moyes signings, Everton's squad is threadbare and for the first half of the season they had only youngsters on the bench. It was the same last season, do you really expect Moyes to be sending us players when he needs them himself? 😱

Wasn't one of Blackpool's players yesterday an Everton loanee?

Yes, a right back. A real priority for us that position eh? 🙄 And another player Everton couldn't send out on loan when Irvine was here given Hibbert their first choice right back and Neville their second were both injured for large parts of the first half of the season.

As for Vaughan, he manages about 20 minutes every 3 months before he's crocked again 😱

What about jutkiewicz who's on loan at Motherwell? Another loanee from Everton.

Thanks for reminding me about Irvine and Loans, was not one of the reasons Derek appointed him was because of his links with Everton.

He then came out about 6 months in to say " I don't like loan players, they don't work out because the player is not interested in the club"!

Erm ok then Alan, something else you got completely wrong.

BSK it is you who misses the point. That being:

Option 1: Hemmings keeps pumping £550K every month into the club with no plan. Under this scenario he'll never get his money back. So this is the one you advocate where we just wait and hope things will improve.

Options 2: I would go to Hemmings and present a plan of action against which a budget of £3 million would be set and drawn against. This would be an opportuity to break out of the current vicious cycle that is spiralling downwards and is out of control. This is in management spiel termed being "pro-active."

An announcement has to be made this coming week about the club's intentions and Fergy Jnr could start the ball rolling by announcing Joshua King is joining us on a season's loan from Man Utd.

By the way has Holloway got savvy or what. Already a Blackpool buddy has told me he's been linked with making a move for Fleck (apparently they're going to submit a £2 million bid) as in the one at Rangers, as in the one I've been screaming from the roof tops we should have got in on loan.
