I met a now retired footballer on holiday a few weeks ago. He was only too happy to have a small chat, take a few pictures etc.

We acknowledged each other anytime we crossed paths but I didn't go out my way to make conversation after the initial meeting.

This is not a great look.

He just needs to apologise and move on from it.
