It's a load of bollocks. It's called communication because, you know, he's the captain.

Some people slag him for not being vocal enough (which is horseshit anyway), and now we have someone who says he's being too vocal. Ha
Don't talk bollox šŸ˜‚ I know a captain when I see one ffs

The best way I can describe the effect Whiteman has on the team is by comparing him to those Sunday league players who should’ve stopped playing about 20 years ago but you’ve only got 11 so you stick him in holding midfield and tell him to just keep it simple whenever he gets it. When watching though you can’t quite tell if he’s playing in midfield or in defence because he doesn’t move fast enough.

BW is so ineffective, he cant spin like Thor, does not make himself available for the ball, today he was just shaking his head rather than busting a gut to find space. Overpaid like most of out team.....!!!
This has been my main gripe with him since day one. When he does make himself available he can be effective, but it's so rare. He actually does the complete opposite of what he should be doing much of the time, he actively moves closer to opponents rather than making space. No idea why he does this. Maybe it's an easy way to hide.

There is more than a passing resemblance to the way Carter used to play. I’ve never understood the way some rated him but his performances this season have regressed beyond poor.

high percentage of passes back to the keeper, seems a shadow of the player we signed, doesn’t tackle much but when he tries it generally ends up as a free kick. Doesn’t create much, passing range to the opposition very good, probably why he goes short to team mate or keeper. Confidence thing ? Or decline ?

Failed to close the man down for the winning goal, gave the lad a free shot and he made the most of it. This shower just never seem to learn.

He’s absolutely honking but no way can you blame him for that goal considering Mads made the most pathetic pass I’ve ever seen just before that.

Whiteman is an absolute crab though and somehow he makes running look painful.

Yes it was poor from Mads, but "Captain" Whiteman still needed to do his job and close the man down. If he had done we might just have got away with a point. All in all a comedy of errors, just sickening.

It's rare that I get to my seat early, but today I did. When the players were coming off the pitch and fans were clapping them off, Whiteman never acknowledged the fans back.

I thought it was a bit off but maybe he was trying to focus on getting prepared. Yet when the players came out for the game, he never acknowledged the Town End or Invincibles again.

Some fans may not care about this at all. But for me, he's our captain. And part of our captains job is to help create a positive bond between fans and players. And not acknowledging us was pretty shitty of him.

I don't like singling individual players out but I'm sorry, I have to make an exception for this thread.

Nothing against the lad but he is a million miles off good enough, its not form now, its constant. He offers absolutely nothing at all and he is our fucking captain!

I'm delighted Ledson is leaving, again nothing against him, but its clear he isn't good enough for this level, yet I'd have him playing ahead of Whiteman every day of the fucking week.

This is the least of his issues at the moment although to add to this he did tell the Finney to fuck off in the second half when they groaned at him for passing the ball back to Cornell from about 10 yards inside their half

It was definitely the Finney.

Unless my memory has failed me, and I’ve done my best to forget all about yesterday, Hughes wasn’t even involved in the passage of play.

It was down our right hand side and I’m pretty sure it was passing between Storey, KKH and then Whiteman’s 60 yard back pass

Some people are so ungrateful, it was straight to Cornell’s feet. What more could one ask for?
