Welcome back Will. Quite happy with this. He's certainly improved a lot since his last stint with us and could prove a useful asset if played along a quicker striker.

This is a good point - surely this means Parrott won't be coming back, which is a decent outcome if so.

Is there any truth that we are in for Sam Smith as well or was that just made up?, I’d be happy if we had Kean, Smith, Cannon, Riis and Evans as our options for next season would obviously give us some depth.

Welcome back to Deepdale Will. If we can now bring in Cannon or similar along with a left wingback, that will leave us with loans plus possibly 1 or 2 youth players ( I know the youth players would probably benefit from loans), but it will look a far better squad than a fortnight ago.
Good signing to end what can only be described as a very productive week behind the scenes.

Had a discussion on here a while ago re Will Keane. He had a pretty a average loan spell previously, but I thought Gallagher did too. And his 2nd spell turned out pretty good.
10 league goals last season in a poor side isn't a bad return. From memory he can drop deep and link play like Parrott attempted to. Hopefully a much better goal return for us though.
