mars I don't bet against them. I simply tell it as it is. That reality is that this club are going absolutely nowhere. They are devoid of money, they are devoid of ideas and they have a manager who continues to utter inane garbage.


Irvine the "master tatician" as some of you claim ? After playing Wallace behind the front 2 juggernauts at Bramall Lane that particular myth has now been well and truly exposed.
 
MJB no I didn't save everyone. I did however report that I'd never heard a noise of that nature before in such a plane. Second time I've had such experiences.

Alternatively, he may have been considering sitting you out on the wing, if he and the rest of the passngers had had the benefit of your company for several hours.

I don't claim that at all. I have accepted we are going nowhere but I don't understand your need to make predictions that are entirely obvious i.e. `we won`t get promoted` and come up with a zillion plan B's before posting `I was right` ...........

Like I said I predict it will rain in Preston before August 😱
 
postishead why would he want to do that when I was reading Michael Parkinson's autobiography ? On the way out I read "The Damned United" which I comend to you all. Was interesting to read about the events concerning Archie Gemmill's transfer under Alan Ball to Derby.
 
marsbar don't you feel a sense of rage that we are going nowhere when Burnley have just pulled it off in one go to our 4 attempts ? Doesn't that tell you there is something flawed in the club psyche ?

With just a bit more commitment and imagination we could have pulled it off. While Burnley are now set to undergo a remarakble transformation we could possibly be facing administration in the near future.

I havent read the book but it is commendable that you are reading to try to improve your spelling - I commend the film to you.

I feel a lot of frustration supporting Preston but I can disseminate between realistic & unrealistic expectations. If you want my honest thoughts I feel we've been very unlucky despite all the obvious mistakes over the last few years but I will NEVER deign to have a better plan or say `I told you so` after the event 😉
A small point you may care to consider if you are reasonable .......
People would take you a lot more seriously if you didn't claim to have all the answers and post the concerns without an `I told you so` attitude 🙂

While Derek Shaw is a true PNE fan he is not a strategist as he himself would admit and if you want to dispute anything I say Derek then phone me up and let's get on the radio for the big one. You, Alan Irvine and your entire business team against just myself. Should be easy for you. Your collective might would annihilate me wouldn't it !

As for the Bay of Bengal I should have "Googled" it earlier as now I know it's one of the hot spot air turbulence zones on this planet !!

Not strictly true this is it Voldemort? I believe they have been in the division exactly the same length of time as ourselves (bar next season), so it was hardly in one go !😕
 
Pk Burnley pulled it off on one go. Their first attempt at the PO's to the promised land and they did it. Meanwhile we have had 4 goes hence we are the "Perennial Failures."

That we didn't do it in those 4 attempts should tell you all there is something about our club that is flawed.

Sheff United have lost in more play off finals than us, yet they have recently been in the Prem. Go's to show that perenial bottlers as you call it, can come good and reach the Prem. Granted they are not there now, however do you think you can honestly say that they won't get there again ? I for one think they mught get promoted next season ?
