Little Update. I finally left the OLD GP Surgery.
Today I got the Birthday Present I wanted and didn't want.
So got to have tests for the Big C, but atm they just because of small signs in past blood test results that may have been missed. So nothing to worry to much.

And Losing the feeling in my Left arm has been increasing, hence why I moved GP's and got a second opinion. I was expecting to be sent back for the treatment of nerve conduction test, sending Electric shocks in the arm. As the OLD GP said the results where lost. Well the New GP said, they there on my File as Read, no further action. Well that was badly wrong because I have 2 Trapped Nerves in my Arm. 1 of them is in the joint, so everytime I bend my arm it gets crushed and more and more damaged. And the Second is minor, nearer the hand. The issue is the Crushed one should of been operated on urgently as it affects the hand and Shoulder and ignoring it can cause long term damage. He said he's booking me in for urgent assessment and hope that with quick action they can prevent further damage but was honest and said that the Damage is done, what I feel now is for life.

Present Wanted - A GP that Listens and takes time to read results.
Didn't want - Results and more tests.

For once I left a GP Appointment feeling that just maybe I can get treatment and move forward instead of being held back by bullshit and messing about. Also said he would back me against the OLD Doctors if things have gone to far because they said the results where lost and yet read them and filed under no further action.

On top of all the shit I been through and going Through, My Quaker Parrot, I was teaching North End Chants to, passed away suddenly, last week. To say it destroyed me, I really didn't want to do the Scores on Saturday, in fact I only did it to occupy my mind.

Now Pickle has been laid to rest and this place is so quiet, I can hear my Wife talking to me, I have decided to take in another Quaker. This Quaker makes Nasty Nigel from the Film Rio look Cute and Cuddly, he Bites, he Screams and I am going to make it my mission to bring him back to trusting Humans again. So Thursday or Tuesday when I got the Train Fair, I am off to Leicester to get him.

I can't believe what I have Seen and will update once I have the bird in my home. But its bad, I mean Humans can be so cruel.
 
Little Vinnie has been rescued and is now with me. I have a new reason to go on, he is going to needs lots of care and help. I have never seen a Bird hide their head with their Wings and body when you put you hand near them. So heart breaking, I hope I can get him to trust me.


Going to be honest Ihis Female owner was devastated to see him go, but she knew he needed to. He was, well nah.

Already had him step up, which she says he won't do, He bops to Music, likes to play with his new toys. Been out for a fly and put himself back. And was able to pick him up without him hiding his head, did squeal with fear but then let me look at his feathers. he will need a long Vet visit, some worrying lumps, but can't get an appointment yet as Vet is off sick and he will need an avian vet. But So happy he's eating, playing and bopping.

Vinnie is in Strict Quarantine, as vet thinks he may have PFBD. It's dangerous and bad news if he has. However He was only 61.4 grams when we got him, he's now 84grams. Target is 100-150 Grams. His feathers are coming back, So that may mean he hasn't got PFBD. He has a Vet visit tomorrow, if he has PFBD, have a very extreme hard choice to make, Keep him Quarantined for another 90 days to see if he becomes immune or is a Carrier (Carrier is the death sentence), Try find a Home with no other Birds or make that call (I know I couldn't do it).

If he gets the all clear, Saturday he will be able to meet from a distance our other Birds. This is what I am so desperate for. I have got him perching, eating, Bathing himself, Climbing into our Bed (Quarantine room as I have not other room). and chirping, in 2 weeks.

I am hoping for the best news as Changing clothes between rooms, showering after holding him and all the hand sanitiser is doing my head in.

His appointment is at 10am, can't get their Early or late, have to use a cabin out the back to protect any other Birds they may see. His appointment is a 3 hour slot, but the vet is booked for 2 days.

I am not going to sleep tonight.

Wow, that is dedication 😲

Hoping he gets the all clear and you can start to integrate him with the rest of your family.
 
Well

He got the all Clear, he's got a few issues from his miss treatment at his old place, but he doesn't have PFBD, and his Quarantine will be lifted on Saturday. He goes back in 2 weeks for a check up and get him DNA tested to be sure of his Age, Sex etc. But he's good and i'm happy to have him home. We doing a Controlled lifting of Quarantine to reduce stress from meeting the other Birds.

Vet was so impressed with his progress, he waved half the fee's. So happy for him and the others. Now I going bed, See you at the weekend.
