Strange and weak response as, unlike you, I have quite clearly expressed my opinion in post 45 as to what I perceive to be Stuckmann's weaknesses compared to Johnstone.
What is your considered opinion about my opinion on their respective qualities?

My definition of distribution would be a keeper that is quite nimble on his feet who gets his head up quickly after receiving the ball and try's to involve outfield players in a speedy manner by way of throws or kicks to effect a quicker build up of play and try to create chances whilst the opposition are committed to attack or out of position.
And just perhaps the manager has finally realised this targeted and signed a young keeper who by all accounts has had a good education in the goalkeeping art and though it could help solve our 'slow ponderous build-ups'.

Now you tell me how a 34 year old 3rd Division standard (or Div 2 to us) German keeper is going to improve our style of play ?

Who said he could or would?.......... I said he commanded his area well, which is something we haven't had since Nash........ If you're happy with good/fast distributing flappers then alls well and good.

I am sorry but that is a pathetic response and shows a distinct lack of comprehension about the variety of qualities which a goalkeeper needs

Your responses are shallow and more by way of quips. Despite my asking you to give a considered opinion on post 45 you clearly do not have the requisite knowledge.

A Keeper that strides out and plucks the ball out of the air and takes the pressure off... Makes life much easier for defenders at corners and free kicks....Instills confidence in the back 4 ( 3 or 5 ).

Much better than a flapper...

The pro-Stuckmann people on here seem to think being "commanding" is all you need to be a good keeper.

I was discussing Herman..... It was you that chucked in Johnstone and invented an argument... Who's stupid?

In which case you shouldn't jump in with 2 size 12's and invent arguments that were never there in the first place........ I think Thorsten Stuckmann's a good Keeper........ You decided it was a pop at Johnstone.

When whatever your on wears off probably in the morning please read back your posts littered with contradictions and denials and reflect on what a mug you've made yourself look IMHO.

As for me can't be arsed discussing the topic any further do lets just leave it eh ....
