Flags for Deepdale 2022/2023 - PNE Online supporting North End Soul

@Mod & Admin Team
Great start with the fundraising!

Important to note that the eventual aim like @JK said is to build it up enough so the flags can be permanently housed for matchday and be inclusive and available to as many fans as possible not just a minority in a corner. So please keep sharing the positivity and message everyone... 🙏

To make a real difference we need to get businesses to sponsor.
Perhaps PAR Group or FWP?
More the merrier
Perhaps a sponsor for a bulk purchase of a section for repeated displays such as this with the same flag possibility incorporating the company (small text) 😅

Perhaps would be a good idea to try and find out which companies other clubs use to get their displays from. Given how we're likely to make numerous large orders over the next 12 months, and hopefully beyond, then I think there's some good deals to be had by using the same company.

I found theflagshop.co.uk and they seem to offer customised flags with discounts for bulk orders.

We've already researched this from a forum point of view and have already had a very brief conversation with the company who produced the Surfers with an idea on costings.

Obviously if any other groups wanted to go elsewhere or take a different approach that would be up to them.

It's clear that supporters are keen to help push on next season so the more the merrier.

£415 in 48 hours is brilliant.

Is that for more surfers or the small pole flags which a few other posters seem to be keen on?

Are you not planning on banners, flags on poles and smaller flags to be held up?

Initially waving flags which anyone across the stand will be able to use each home game without any real organisation.

We are surfed out 😝

Pole flags initially depending on how much we raise.

We are thinking roughly 1mx1.5 - fans will be involved in how they are designed within the limits of costs to be produced.

Banners and the like also eventually.

This is important that this is something that can be set up for fans to take part without the need for us to physically do something prior to every game.

That is as a forum of course.

If the folk on this thread can get together and create tiffos or banners for specific games then that's fantastic but not something we can logistically get involved in.

Organising Tiffos will take specific organisation and arranging. Something which whilst we are happy to help support and facilitate its not something we specifically want to be involved in on a match day.

In an ideal world we would be able to hand over to any group to show the flags or surfers and we can sit back and relax 😜

Hopefully that gives more of an idea what we are looking at.

Whilst applauding the flags initiative, I would like us to be more proactive in generating supporter noise. Deepdale gets going at times but the location of the drum and singers needs looking into. More needs to be done here. I've already posted about the fact that having supporters in the corner often means the chants die down because two sets of fans in the Town End sing at different speeds and people give up trying to join in. It needs to be done from the middle at the back and behind the goal.

As PNEGSD has stated, he has been given the thumbs up for the group being called "North End Soul", but we would be happy if other people want to provide some suggestions and we put it to the people on here to vote? After a day or two, I will then create the social media page(s) for the group to help spread the word!
