Matchday Thread PNE v Hull City - 02/03/24 - KO:3PM - Championship

Missed today for family reasons, hoped for 3 points, wasn’t to be.
Didn’t know the result, got home & read through this thread.
Gladdened my heart the majority positive views throughout, what appears to have been an entertaining game & more importantly, a display by the team they can be proud of & we can all happily get behind.
Happy to see the match focus on disability with the captain’s pre-match gesture no hardship, but which will have brightened a young fans day &, no doubt with the other players and staff behind the scenes, given him a day to treasure and remember fondly. A welcome distraction to the travails the young man must sadly have to endure.
The only downside of an otherwise uplifting day? Today of all days, Ron returns without any humility or remorse. Quite the opposite.
I nearly walked away after his recent comments but there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
Many people showed support of me personally and disabled people generally. I received personal messages where people shared details of their own or loved ones disabilities and issues, sadly including young children.
I count my blessings to share my love of PNE with fantastic people who support not just our team, but fellow nobbers when support is really needed.
We are the Gentry. UTW!!!

This is why his access to the forum has now been permanently revoked.

I am delighted you have decided to stay on the forum and I hope you continue to do so moving forward.

I thought that was a good game and a thoroughly decent performance.

Both sides had their chances but I don't think either were likely to win it so a point a piece is a very fair result.

Defence was excellent and McCann outstanding.

What I've seen over the past month or so has been far, far better than what I witnessed previously.
Spot on Gaz, I said the same on the shuttle bus after the game - to anyone that was listening !!

As always not everyone is gonna agree with people's comments etc but overall it's a good laugh on here and all-round good people chatting North End & things. You should always feel welcome on here Keeper1 .

The composer?
Haha not sure, but is from Poland and is exceptional. They don't produce a lot though and as seen in the link below, not the cheapest! But well worth it.
