i think i was watching a different game to a lot of people, regardless of the team we had on the pitch they were fucking abysmal for most of it and with little or no direction from the dugout to go after the points.
Stuck with Lowe and with no money to spend its going to be a quiet summer. Still at least we know supersub woodbollox will get plenty of games.
Yes i'm still pissed off. LOWE OUT and for the happy clappers we are going to get dicked at home on Tuesday and spanked by an in form Norwich next week.

I'm inclined to agree. I few highs and lows would be preferable to our mind numbing, soul crushing mediocrity.I’d much rather have Rotherham’s last 10 years than ours, without a shadow of a doubt.

If we got relegated there would be an outrage on here. Imagine only witnessing four wins in an entire season.
People would rather have that!? I’ve heard it all now.
Well I certainly would not. Being a yo-yo team between the prem and the championship I would take all day long but between championship and League 1 or old second and third division that is setting your sights very low. Dear me, from original Invincible’s to excitement from climbing from division 3 to division 2 is an almighty fall imo.I'm inclined to agree. Thinking this through probably the Committee style ownership we have these days doesn’t help. Ideally I’d have though you’d want one strong voice, focussed on the club and holding the purse strings. They’d then should be able to say to RL at this stage in the season; give it a push and let’s see what happens but you’re safe for next season. If I were Peter Ridsdale though I’d still be having a chat with Ryan tomorrow morning and asking him why he was instructing his players to settle for a point with 10 minutes to go ! It doesn’t make any logical sense.

Quite frankly, neither of them could find their arse using both hands. Both are redundant.
They've had stuff to celebrate over the last 10 years. That's the aspect I'd prefer over our boring decade. If we got relegated there would be an outrage on here. Imagine only witnessing four wins in an entire season.

Wow constant celebrations for a year followed by constant despair to follow the celebrations never actually achieving anything at all. Nah it’s ok I will keep hoping to be the best we can be.They've had stuff to celebrate over the last 10 years. That's the aspect I'd prefer over our boring decade.

If you would prefer winning only four times in a season then perfect. I agree that at the moment finishing midtable every season is boring. They've had stuff to celebrate over the last 10 years. That's the aspect I'd prefer over our boring decade.
But I would 100% take that over having a season where you win four games. I know how it feels to be relegated. It bloody hurts. Having that just to come back up the season after. I mean what’s the point.
Absolutely spot on…If you would prefer winning only four times in a season then perfect. I agree that at the moment finishing midtable every season is boring.

Getting relegated is a horrible feeling , we did plenty of that in the 70’s , 80’s and 90’s and I don’t want that again…..
Great YouTube video that……
Watford was definitely the right place. They're the only ones I can remember embracing it to that extent. Maybe they could have a word with the South Yorkshire lot!

60 minutes again, hope the fitness coach turns the next pre-season into a beasting for the whole of the first team in attendance, not just a trip to Spain with half a squad and a jolly for Risfail !Most managers would have said something along the lines with the injuries and personnel available today we changed tactics slightly and went more direct which negates the need for Mads to start. To be fair to Lowe it worked well and in normal circumstances you could argue a draw away at Watford would be ok but when you need to win and you can see the starting 11 blowing out of there arses after 60 mins make the changes and go for the win.
I see what you're saying. But what is the point in bobbing about in midtable? Relegation at least pierces the fog of boredom. I mean at least we would get a victory parade. We could always have one if we finish in the top ten. Lowe would love that. Just him on a open-top bus. Standing arms outstretched like Christ the redeemer. If you would prefer winning only four times in a season then perfect. I agree that at the moment finishing midtable every season is boring.

Gentry day postscript. My first visit ti Vicarage Road . Watford fans we encountered were pleasant, friendly and showed a genuine interest to learn about Gentry day. Thanks to Watford FC.
It would be a start on Gentry day , and hopefully more games after, if we lost all the chants about that lot with the Tower, Would add to the idea of us being Gentry. Im sure in 1970/71 season there were none of these chants.
