This is a brief version of what was said. Keep in my this isn't verbatim, so tried to be as fair as possible to what was said.
Alan Kelly Jr - League position is a concern etc and that's probably where the letter has come from. Fair play to Craig Hemmings for responding quickly and for meeting with people it gives people a chance to discuss their thoughts and concerns, most people in charge of clubs wouldn't bother. Sometimes you have to take a step back and listen.
Pete Burns - It's interesting. It's good the club have that open dialogue. It's a small minority that would put their name to their letter, they have an alternative [presume they mean ulterior] agenda around the hierarchy. It's aimed at one individual who they [the letter signatures] think has more control of the club than what they do. Some common sense in the letter, but there's an under tome of other issues.
I don't think it's as bad a situation as social media says, it's a well run club financially. Everything has a knock on effect, people wouldn't be looking at the hierarchy if we were doing well. There's unhappiness about contract expires, about lack of sellable assets and that's where the frustration seems to be coming from.
Majority of the fans still with the team. I think there's some valid points that do need to be clarified but I think there's a personal vendetta.
Good opportunity to clear players out with those out of contract, but we need to stop getting into this situation year on year. Need to work a bit smarter but can't force a player to sign a contract.
