Whilst there are other issues, i think the main one is how effectively Ridsdale spends the budget that he is given and why he cannot improve said budget over and above the easy, lazy way that brings some revenue in but not much.
Most of the extra budget he has is from Ticket sales, which he had little control over improving anyway.

As its the case that a lot of us think that Ridsdale is the problem, why if this forum is a minority view was the LEP result pulled on the Ridsdale question and if they are so certain its a minority view why not hold a referendum of at least Season Ticket holders (not sure of the logistics of widening it to the greater fanbase) with the simple question.
'Do you think Peter Ridsdale is doing a good job'?

@norfolk white

We have a Squad of 24, 23 if you remove Ched and place him as a coach only. There's 2 "Free Spaces" straight away.

You reading this, Peter?

The January transfer window will soon be upon us. It is our job to try and facilitate the opportunity for Paul to enhance, improve and shape the squad to his needs but we must remind our supporters that money to buy players, for a club like PNE, is not infinite. In many cases we need to free up spaces within a squad to enhance the squad.

Why would the club agree to PR not being there to defend himself? As the whole agenda is anti Peter Ridsdale, he should be in attendance.

Because that was a condition of the meeting ( probably the only one )... If he's that good he won't worry one bit about the meeting without him and his paymasters will defend him gallantly.... A confident, able employee wouldn't bat an eyelid but a dodgy, incompetent probably might worry and feel a bit insecure........ So why would he care ? 😀

Its like going to trial without representation

The more people on here target him, the more it looks like a vendetta, personally I don’t think he’s as good as Derek was or as bad as Maurice was.

He's not the point although he should be removed pdq..... The owners believe he is doing a good job for them which is far more worrying....

If our business wasn't football and it was instead online shopping, Ridsdale would feel a corner shop / rag and bone man approach would be more streamlined.

The game of football has moved on. North End under Hemmings and 90's anecdote riddled Ridsdale refuse to.

They think streamlined in youth academy terms, is having a L2 standard setup that's run like it's still the year 2000.

That's not really praise though.

Considering the role Ridsdale plays within our club, it's not surprising to see him face criticism. I wouldn't call it a vendetta for fans to criticise someone in his position when we have no success to speak for over the past 10 seasons. If we are seeing consistent issues between different managers; who would you expect fans to blame other than the owner's representative who is directly involved in our transfers business, club operations, and club interaction with fans?

It's like saying fans have a vendetta against a player who is out of form. If they're out of form, the fans won't be happy with their performance

You reckon he's the only one "on trial " ? I think you're missing the point............. I'd suggest this goes far beyond our resident clown..... and the club attendees ( owner representatives ) are far more on trial which goes way beyond Ridsdale and so it should...

If they manage it then the supporters should be pointing out the owners personal shortcomings and deficiencies with regard to the PNE " operation". This is not a Ridsdale issue and has therefore got jack shit to do with him. He's no right to be there whatsoever. It's above his paygrade.

Exactly - Craig's attempts to redefine accountancy and what is and isn't "correct" makes him look either dodgy as hell or a numpty.

I think CH should be questioned further about this potential, hypothetical additional £3 million turn over. The club made the decision to outsource and you would expect the decision to do so was being made with the "best interests" of Preston North End,commercially and financially.
If CH/PR are as the statement they have made claims,we are potentially missing out on a further £3 million in turnover and therefore the "profit" this would generate.
Then the decision to outsource was not made with the " best interests" of Preston North End.
The decision to outsource therefore being a poor commercial and financial management decision, the person making that decision should surely then be accountable for it ? 🤔

Our 'streamlined' approach of 'many hats' is akin to having one man build an entire car. Over a century ago they worked out having people specialise in different areas helped productivity.

That's right. Ridsdale hasn't even caught up to Henry Ford.

They'd argue the decision to outsource is simply brilliant - they are just miffed that their turnover is pathetic compared to other clubs (it's the worst in the Championship, in fact).

Them's the breaks fellas - if you want revenues like the big boys like Rotherham and Huddersfield, bring the work in-house, don't outsource!

Looks like Riis will be off loaded in Jan; a well timed goal to improve the price ? Which other players have any value where they are in a similar contract situation…and won’t sign a new one ? Freddie W could move with a small fee/free maybe and enable Iverson to come in ?

Just basically a "here you go, look what we've done now shut up".
Except they've done nothing to actually progress us.

Sadly the gullible have fallen for it.

The usual happy clappers on Twitter spouting dross as usual.

That Peter Seddon guy must be related to Riddler in some way. I’ve never seen someone so active in defending him. It’s actually insane.
