I listened to his interview from yesterday... apparently they were "resolute" in large parts 😂
 
If we get through this one and the next round, we'll have two Saturday home league games bumped to midweek. So, is fixture congestion ab issue, or do we like the thought of Watford and Oxford both having to come up for night games with less fans, short turnaround before a long trip etc?
Obviously could end up the same by them getting through as well...

Statistically do we get more points on a night game ? If so, deploy Plan A.

Oxford at home being moved would suit me fine - I'm due to miss that (as it stands) due to a gig in Bristol.
 
Put a side out that will be able to win. Imagine if we lose and Wigan draw Liverpool or Everton away. It’ll be manic on here.

Start with those whose season has been disrupted by injury and suspensions etc- Thompson, McCann, Lewis, Valentin, Potts, Osmajic, Keane plus reserves - Walton, Lindsay, Frokjaer. That’s 10 plus Storey as both Offiah and Hughes need a rest.
There will be plenty of quality on the bench if things go badly.

He’s been injured since the cup game against West Ham. And if any striker has earned a go it’s Ayodele who has been carrying that youth team at times this year
