Wolves are definitely in for him and he is well aware.

When we change divisions with Wolves we’ll have the upper hand york.
If we don’t…….

……. we’ll have to rely on the goodwill, monetary excesses & potentials of our new owners. 😃

Have to ask the question.
When a player signs on loan they will sign a contract just like as if they were signing permanent?
If there is an option to buy, which it is stated in this case, surely Spurs have agreed a fee and this fee will be written into the contract.
If as Ridsdale has stated, Devine has agreed terms, these terms will also be written in the contract.
Presumably all of PNE, Spurs and Devine will have signed this contract.
If say Wolves now come in and say to Spurs we will offer you 10 mill, and they say to Devine we will double your wages, Spurs and Devine would have to break their contract which they have signed with PNE. surely PNE could sue them for breach of contract.
If PNE cough up the fee both Spurs and Devine will have to accept them as agreed.
In theory, PNE could double their money without him kicking another ball for the club.

Don't know if this is how it would work?

Personal terms aren't agreed in the contract on an option to buy, that'd be for obligation to buys.

So it's probably just verbal discussions when PR says personal terms have been agreed.

I have no reason to doubt you but things like players having sell on clauses in their contract are quite common.

Verbal agreements aren't worth the paper they are written on, not worth even mentioning them.

This is exactly why PR shouldn't really have said what he did, because will be even more backlash now if we don't sign him.

Just gets better and better. Central to everything we do.

Clearly getting a reputation as well. Noticed since Christmas, teams are backing off him when he runs with the ball. Sign that they’re terrified of what he can do with it

Even starting to add different finishes to his game.

That header today was absolutely beautiful, lovely curl on it and gave the keeper no chance.

Have to get this one sorted, his values immediately more than the price tag after this season alone. Printing money after another season or 2.

The guy is very good. Attitude and ability spot on. Sadly can’t see him in a North End shirt next season

😍

I know there's the buy option in there and stuff like that. I think that all gets sorted after the season. Throughout the season, it's just about focusing on what's happening right now.
On his enjoyment of the loan, Devine told BBC Lancashire. “I think every single time I speak to the media, or to whoever, I express how much I love it here. From day one until now, you can tell when you've got a good feeling in and around the place.
“You're looking forward to going in every day, and then when it gets to Saturday, Tuesday, whenever the game is, that sort of shows on the pitch.
