A nice break for the boys

A nice break for the boys

Just thought we needed to bring up 200 posts. Seriously I cannot see the problem with Joan asking lots of questions - most needed an answer - and it isn't the fans job to run the club (well not yet anyway). There is nothing wrong with suggestions either. However it is pointless berating people for not having the answer. That is the job of Derek and the Board of the field and Al and his team on it.

Our bid for willaimson was the same as Sheff Utd but we could not match their wages so HE decied to go there but im sure that been ponited out to you before!!!!

The point is this - We bid £500k for Willo which then disappeared rather mysteriously. We then sell Macca for £750k of which about £500k was spent on Parry & Shumi. So where is the £750k Macca £££? (Combination of the Willo £500k and the £250k left over from Macca)😱

why is it Shaws fault. Was it shaws fault weve got to two play off finals and he keeps us up there year in year out.

1994 - Bryan Grey
2001 - Bryan Grey
2005 - Your hero and bestest Chairman ever,Derek Shaw.

Again why thats his fautl and again i aint bring funny or anything i just don't understand. maybe im thick i don't know.

Juts a liltte story about how hard it is these days to find youngetsers good enough to come through the ranks; When we bought Dickson Etuhu from City ther acadmey guy said that in spite of them spending over 5 million a year on their acadamy only two players come through in the five years he was there and we bought both of them Tyron Mears being the other one.[ So thers no gaurentee eevn at that level and spending that sort of money that you will get anybody coming through.

So,where the fuck did SWP,as an example of the time you're quoting, appear from? 🙄 He was also sold for £21m.

There is a quote that you should take heed to.

CAN'T SEE THE WOODS FOR THE TREES.

Well Irvine's master plan to motivate his team of hoofers has really paid dividends. That's one defeat and a draw. Relegation form !

I have a better idea. Next time Irvine and his mollycoddled team should go to a gulag in Siberia.

I didn't agree with spending the money on a sunshine trip for the lazy bastards but to say it didn't pay dividends is complately wrong. Against Newcastle they deserved at least a draw and at Blackpool they did get one (albeit being the worse team of the two). It would, in my opinion, have been classed as failure if we had been trounced by both these two high flying teams - which of course we weren't. However next time they want to go 'away' perhaps an army training camp would be more appropriate

0 - 1 against the best team in the division and an away draw against a form team. Try being a little less negative.

Wasn't a visit to Catterick Camp for a training break or pre-season responsible for a career ending injury to a PNE player who's name escapes me for the moment? sorry brian army training camps are as they are named and that's for the army.

Glen Johnstone, goalkeeper was one, he twisted his knee when running, going over in a tank track when John Besk was manager. Finished his football career, but went on to play cricket for Preston Cricket Club.
😉
