This is why I haven’t said anything critical - because this is totally valid, and Alfie has shown real class.
But it’s fair to make the point that it’s been a return to form after a dip. It seems to me that he’s been really inconsistent this last couple of months.
By inconsistent you mean shit, don't you?

So has everyone else - you live and die as a team.

I have two preconditions to renew my season ticket.
1. MOST IMPORTANT. Sign Divine on a perm. The club must show ambition and do this.
2. Pitch. Get it fixed. It is an embarrassment at this level.
and two hopeful...
a] Sell the club.
b] Get rid of.............. [insert name of choice..90% will be the same] Was an embarrassing appointment in the first place and should be nowhere near a football club.
Sadly, your number 1 I know definitely won’t happen. And 2 the pitch, only with new owners. The delayed but not ours big tent is the Trusts solution.

Only way we keep Devine is with a new owner. The fee is suppose to be 4.5m. Thats our whole budget, its just not happening under Hemmings .
It's not our whole budget, it's way, way above it. I have it on very good authority that our net spend in the summer was £675k and there was no more money to spend. Everything we spent on January was financed through outgoings. There is no budget.

I’m all for this , but the worry then is replacing Osmajic

Dobbin and Jebbo will be gone, leaving us with Osmajic and Smith .

Back with the loan market merry go round we go
We have to make some in- contract players available for transfer and hope that there are some takers- Smith(free), Lindsay, Storey?, Walton, Gibson?

FWIW, I think we'd be mad not to buy Alfie. He's an asset that will increase in value and make us more saleable.
Sometimes this club makes mad decisions.
You can see it, I can see it but the line will probably be the budget is the budget.
Really hope I’m wrong on this because it would be a massive wasted opportunity.

Unless it is structured, then difficult to see them paying it all in one or even 2 lump sums.

Why though would they agree a fee and personal terms though if they're just going to act like tyre kickers 12 months down the line?
Have we agreed the fee or have Tottenham just put the fee in to protect their asset.
Did we not supposedly have some sort of
£5 million Tom Cannon fee all in place and agreed, never to materialise, with North End claiming Everton moved the goalposts.?
We are talking Noth End here you nothing really is a surprise, well signing him for £4.5 million would be.👍😀
