It's hard for an old timer like myself to say, but, the club needs to move with the times.

If the Hemmings clan were serious they would ditch Ridsdale and replace him with someone who knows how to buy and sell to make a profit.
We may not have a lot to spend but it could be spent a lot better.

Someone needs to be brought in on the commercial side and their hands shouldn't be tied with this stuff like the stadium can only be named Deepdale and we have to have hooped socks.
If someone is prepared to pay us shed loads of dosh to name the stadium The Manchester Insurance Stadium what does it matter as long as the shed is a big un and it is full of pound sterling.

Don't think the Hemmings are serious especially if as we are to believe the club is up for sale.
New owners may be a gamble but it will happen sometime anyway might as well gamble now.

Whilst I agree we should move onto someone younger and forward thinking it would not surpassed me one bit with the Hemmings and Peter knows that if he sold someone for £5 million then all that would happen is the £5 million is knocked off the money put in the club that summer by the trust and the budget stays as it would with or without that so Peter just let’s contracts run down and keeps them for an extra year

Hasn’t it already been said personal terms agreed as well? Just a matter of pulling the pin in the time frame agreed……which we won’t, obviously!

Yes, but the person who said it was Ridsdale 😅

Spurs would genuinely have a decent core squad if they came down just from returning loans. Alfie Devine, Dane Scarlett, Ashley Phillips, Yang Min-Hyeok, Mikey Moore. I do however think the Prem would step in with some corrupt intervention to prevent them being relegated though

They'd absolutely destroy the league, like Newcastle, but it'd be hilarious to see them come down.

Given what Peter said in that interview a couple of weeks ago - Fee agreed with Spurs, Terms agreed with Alfie - it makes me think that this is the potential new owner(s) flexing their financial muscle having read the books and also the future Transfers Out Transfers In.

Regards Spurs, funny as fuck.

I predicted a couple of weeks back at work (not sure if i did on here) looking at their remaining fixtures including the last 3 games under Tudor a final total of 36 Points.

I genuinely now think they will struggle to reach that.

Talented, but he's going to be a Championship at best
Yep, can’t say I’m generally that fussed to lose him.

For £4.5m.. I’d want someone who’s better then half a season.. form’s dropped off massively since Christmas IMO.

Great potential, but not worth two years of budget.

Think that's a bit short sighted. The entire team has gone to rat shit so there's obviously something very wrong. In terms of actual talent, I think he's demonstrated he's a very capable player at this level and still think anyone signing him for that money would see a return on investment.

Completely coincidentally, his form dropped off at the precise time Wrexham found out that the terms of his loan here meant they couldn't buy him outright...

If course they will see a return, however I don’t think we are in a position to spend double our transfer record (or eat into future budgets) only a player that has only really been consistent for 4/5 months.

If we could have got Archer or Cannon for the same price at the time.. I would have snapped their hand off.

Just an opinion.
