What's a 4 in today's jargon then?
Don't know much about him bar he looked decent on the left for Rovers in the one game I have seen him play (1-2 Lindsay).
In that game, he reminded me of Iain Anderson. The player, not the bloke from Jethro Tull.
Will see how he does over 5 - 10 games 1st.I like this signing. Done his work experience at this level at other clubs, and now we should be getting a more clued up player for a measly million quid. 22, a full international, and knows this league.
Hopefully the coaching team can work on his aggression and physicality, which sounds his weak point.
We've definitely prioritised ball carriers - Devine, Dobbin, Small, Offiah, Valentin, Lang, and Moran.

Yeah, Stoke and Rovers fans don’t give glowing reviews.
LA fans on social media seem to be much kinder but appreciate direct Championship assessments carries more weight.
I’ve said it before but if you read what Stoke fans say about Iversen, it ain’t kind and we know how good he is. Plymouth said Devine was poor, Watford fans scathing about Jebbo, Dobbin anonymous at WBA.
Sometimes it’s just about the right place, the right coaches and group of lads and now he has a permanent home to get settled.
Ah yeah, totally. Still interesting to read, especially if we see the total opposite.

The other thing to consider is he was in two shite, failing teams at Rovers and Stoke.

Seems a similar type of player to Devine, can pick a pass and also carry the ball. Should help us keep the ball much better if he's in the midfield alongside Devine with whiteman sitting

Are there any positive comments about him from Rovers or Stoke fans? I‘ve only seen him getting slated.
I guess we’d better hope they’re all wrong.

I have seen some saying that he is a good player technically, just lightweight. Some Rovers fans even accepted that it was a couple of years ago and as a young player he has likely improved since then.
Both of those fanbases definitely have a fair bit of snobbery about them. I take their opinions on players with more than a pinch of salt tbh.
