Anybody else agree???

Anybody else agree???

Thats fucking bollox...Hume would of lasted 90mins if he hadnt played the 40 mins alone and had he had Juvel with him and not Barton, he would of lasted longer. Juel could of seen the time out on his own as he did anyway with Barton as an extra midfielder.

What a loda of shit you talk.

'that's fucking bollox' as you would say. So we put a player who's been injured for 7weeks with another striker and he's fully match fit? I'd like to see you be injured for 7weeks, then play a full 90minutes just because you have another guy along side you. Have you never saw Hume play? Have you seen how much effort a 100% Hume would give? That couldn't be done without playing a game in 7weeks. Bar 2 sub appearances that is.

You tit, he played 45 mins last week, then 90 mins in a Friendly midweek...thats how I know he's fit.

Plus he is a naturally fit guy.

So stop talking Shit.

Sqaure pegs in square holes.

So you accuse me of talking shit when you come out with the following statement "Hume would of lasted 90mins if he hadnt played the 40 mins alone and had he had Juvel with him and not Barton" That is purely speculation. There is no way of knowing if he'd have lasted 90 or not. He has just returned from injury you know. But like I said, some people can't help but moan.

Agree that Hume shouldn't be expected to play the full 90 when obviously not fully fit. Whether Tsoumou should have come on instead of Barton I don't know but after Mellor went off we where always going to end up with one upfront for a part of the game. Anyway WE FUCKING WON, who really cares now. Not worth arguing about.

Ok so he played a game and a half in 7 weeks, match fit what a tit. Playing 90minutes in the friendly would have knackered him out, meaning he would never of lasted 90minutes even with any striker in the world, yet alone Tsoumou.

LOOK THICKO, I'LL SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU....

If you play a lone role you cover the ground of 2 people....if you know anything about footy you would know that....if there is 2 of you...you dont.......so then if you are unfit(as you claim) you would last longer...It's not rocket science clit lips.

The truth is that for tonight's match we only had one fully fit, experienced striker - Mellor. Hume was obviously well short of match fitness, Proctor was injured and Tsoumou is not yet - and may never be - of appropriate standard. I thought we would bring Tsoumou on when Mellor went off - and I am sure if Proctor had been on the bench he would have come on - but Alexander and Unsworth obviously felt that he was only likely to make an impact later on. In retrospect a cannier substitution might have been to have brought McLaughlin on and have put him on the right of midfield with Mayor sent forward to partner Hume.

Well what good management would of played him in a FRIENDLY so he would be fooked for a league game on a saturday??? You tit. They did it and he stayed on becuase they both thought it was good for him.

Some fucking idiots sign up on here.

We went under the real cosh when the Flapper Barton came on. It was the usaul back to wall job as the ball was not sticking up front.

Why did we not just put the hapless Juvel on and Hume would not of had to work so hard???? and thus still giving us the 4-4-2 and being as strong as we were early?

In fairness, its not often you conceede 59% of possession over 90 mins and win.

If its an omen then fine, but it smells of our early season 'non convincining' form.

Still its an early crimbo present.

Just beat 4th in the league on the back of a very difficult week for the club, and still people try and find fault so they can have a good moan........pathetic really!

To a degree, Ernest you are correct, but the useless Juvel would of been more natural.

Just seen that Hume played 45 minutes on Tuesday, so 90 minutes after 7 weeks out makes him match fit?

As I pointed out earlier, he only played 45 minutes in the friendly.

You all think I'm having a go at Hume........I'm not...I'm asking about the Barton's role in the substitution....the A/U asked him to replace Mellor(sicknote)...the game plan was the same as Phil Browns last week...and in that moment we became weaker...we became totally on the back foot and back to the team we were.

So why did we not go with 442 and not the shit 441-1 that we are crap at??????

Nobody thinks you are having a go at him because you said he could've lasted 90 minutes with another striker. Clearly couldn't though.

I would have thought when he did eventually come on, it explained why he had not earlier! Dear me he reminds me of Patrick Agyemang on a poor day only not as fast.

I'll disagree with the comments about Barton here as I did on the match thread. I thought he showed some real application and an ability at times to keep possession. He is never going to be a tough tackler and needs to be played in a context where there are two or even three other midfielders able to assert themselves and win the ball. Mellor was looking good before he was injured. If he can be back for the next match and Hume can have another week to get himself fit - he was a shadow of himself tonight - we will be OK upfront, even more so if, hopefully, we also have Proctor for the bench. Tsoumou is just a raw youth at the moment. It is possible he might yet turn into a useful player, but he is a long way off.

I agree with this. I'm not his biggest fan by any means but I thought he applied himself well tonight. He did a lot of running and harrying and his height was useful defensively as he got his head in the way a few times. I disagree regarding the strikers though. I think we still need another striker as all three of Mellor, Hume and Procter will take time to get back to early season fitness and as you say, Tsoumou is a still way off being good enough at this level.

Agree totally but I do feel Tsoumou tends to look better when not playing on his own. He needs the help that can come from playing alongside an experienced partner
