Whiteman is one of our better signings and is going to be a key player for us... but is recent comment about Maguire is a million miles off.. comparing Maguire to Roberto Firmino is a joke 8 goals in his last 85 appearances! No sorry Ben he ain't no Firmino! A good players yes a striker No!

He’s benefitting being played in a settled side alongside a good player in McCann. Good to AB starting to tick again, hard lines on DJ but ABs position is the 10 if he starts. Ledson is solid but not at same level as McCann or Whiteman, but good option. Same for Potts (I don’t mind him) Good problems to have tbf, strength in depth.

So good to watch today. Can spray it literally everywhere. Very much like a re-invention of Gally.

Be interesting to see how he is utilised by RL. Could see him in the middle of a back 3 if he, defensively, gets better. Seems to always be a step ahead and think being in the middle of a 3 in sort of a ‘quarterback’ role could work well if you still wanted DJ, Ali and Browne in midfield.

Does blow my mind what some people watch.

He made 60 accurate passes today (the most in the side).12 were long balls forward and 9 of them were accurate. His pass success rate was 87% and he made 2 key passes.

If you have an agenda just say. But by saying he was absent, you’re making yourself look very clueless about football
