Matchday Thread Bolton Wanderers v PNE | 15.08.26 | KO:12:30pm | Championship

[Nutty]

Bolton are average but to be fair to them they haven't had to get out of second gear today.

[Wisemen say]

Have we realised yet we are 2-0 down with less than 20 minutes to play......

[Seamustasmania]

Might be a case of bad team selection to start the game. That’s on hecky. Changes have definitely improved us though

They were just too late

[BPIG]

They’re fucking showboating. That’s how bad we are.

[6pence]

The manager has been backed in the transfer market and needs to turn things round quickly

I would agree with this.

I just do not think today is the evidence. The signings are still coming and the most recent ones have not had chance to bed in. Not going to be long until the excuses run out though.

[Mickypne]

Hardly been in their half.

[Southern Softie]

Leroy playing decent passes and Offiah tackling Gale. Changes should have happened at half time as they were fucking obvious to us mere supporters.

But you haven’t got the badges (have you?) 😂

[SF]

Set up hoping it was still 0-0 at 60 minutes. Get this manager gone.

[Bobbage]

Everything we do is so slow and predictable.

[wld]

Do we spend all week working on the goalkeeper clearing it towards the forwards? It might work again one day, I think the first day of last season was the last time it did.

[milkyken]

Let’s hope the new players bed in quickly. The first 45 shows as we all know the squad last year wasn’t good enough

I can’t wait to watch a game and not hear the names Lindsay, Hughes, storey anywhere near the starting line up

[Dannypne7]

Set up hoping it was still 0-0 at 60 minutes. Get this manager gone.

Honestly think he's the worst manager we've had at this level.

Devoid of any tactical nous and charisma.

[Kholek]

Awful. No idea why Bolton are taking their time a better team could set their GD up for the season here.

[Hoz ']

Trotters top of the table at our expense!

[IrishNorthEnder93]

Watch Hardie get the 3rd for them now.

[Sutty]

Turned it off.

It’s not even the result that bothers me. It’s the total lack of performance.

It’s like the players think it’s another preseason game.

[pnesteve]

I know we’ve been shite but how is that not a foul!!

[simo]

The manager has been backed in the transfer market and needs to turn things round quickly

The only thing he needs to be given the chance to turn round is his car when he turns up for training on Monday.

[pnesteve]

Shoot ffs!!
