Chris Humphrey

Chris Humphrey

I could be completely wrong here (I often am), but does anyone else think that perhaps Humps improvement is due to a bit of pressure taken off him from last season? With Sir Tom`s passing all the talk was about how he was (and still is) the best player/person that has ever worn the no 7 for North End.
Now with all the talk about the coming season and Humps playing regularly and not in and out of the team for things like the first game after Sir Tom`s passing(personally I think he would have been slaughtered if he played in that game) and the funeral, Humps is now full of confidence without constant reminders of what he has to live up to,,, long may his good form last and who knows at the end of this season we may well have another no 7 to be proud of.

More likely because he's playing an attacking role rather than a wingback role.

Maybe a good indicator of how the home crowd can effect a players and his confidence is that Humphrey hasn't scored a goal at Deepdale.

I suspect that is simply due to the fact that Humphrey is not as effective against teams that sit back and try to hit us on the break because he cannot get round the back of them so easily. It will be interesting to see if he can do so tomorrow.

Indeed, I fully expect him to start tomorrow and be full of confidence. Tomorrow he has to deliver to prove the neigh sayers wrong.

Speaking of Monakana, he nominated Grayson for that icebucket challenge charity thing. He didn't actually do the challenge himself though, claimed he was too ill. Lol.

How lazy can this guy get! What a waste! Couldn't even be arsed to have a bucket of cold water poured over him!
