If they only agreed a deal with ‘parties’ in August, we may only be 2 months into the IFR process. Zedan may have walked away having been thoroughly frustrated by Revitt’s attitude which may well have derailed any attempt to successfully conclude a deal?
Club Takeover/Investment
Worrying thing is, if and when a takeover takes place- November or January- are we really expecting a seamless transition with a new DOF, new chairman and suddenly our defence becoming water tight and our attack suddenly becoming lethal?
It will create so much upheaval, people losing jobs and uncertainty.
Things will get worse before they get better.

This is what people have been afraid of for over a decade. Shit scared of a relegation and therefore happy to support the club in perpetual Championship survival mode with no ambition to improve itself long-term.
I'm beyond this now. Takeover is all that matters. Fuck the on the pitch stuff, I don't see the point in being a Championship club which has no ambition. It may be painful for a few years but it was like that for many other clubs who are now way better off than we are.
If it was up to me, I'd invest everything in upgrading the Academy to the next tier up. Now would be a perfect time, as investing millions to try and save this squad from relegation in the January transfer window would be a colossal waste of money as we will be far too adrift by then.
I don't really see how we stay up this season on current evidence and performances. Therefore, happy for the club to be sold and get ripped apart this season, ready to enter a new era with some ambition, an actual plan and some actual grown ups at the top.Worrying thing is, if and when a takeover takes place- November or January- are we really expecting a seamless transition with a new DOF, new chairman and suddenly our defence becoming water tight and our attack suddenly becoming lethal?

Nothing would surprise me.Derek Shaw was there yesterday, could there be a return for WDD?
Agree with the caveat that I don’t want us to slide too far backwards. I’m not getting any younger😊This is what people have been afraid of for over a decade.
