Club Takeover/Investment

Club Takeover/Investment

No idea. As others mention there could a legal field day for years to come as everyone tries to test the other boundaries of what they can and can’t do. Be just their luck to manage to undo the penalties they impose by messing up the implementation of them
it is such a wider conversation than points deducted etc, the investment has been significant in Manchester's growth and continues to be so = governments and all kinds of authorities involved

Taking it even wider, the fees they have spent on players will have affected football leagues across the world. Some teams may have lost players but will have benefitted from what City paid for them. That money is happily sloshing around the football world.

absolutely - ultimately the solution is to dismantle the organisational structure that got them to that position, but that wont happen.
Demoting them to a lower league is utterly pointless in the long run and will actually make things even worse in the Championship as clearly they wont adhere to FFP

Mank ground bought by the ratepayers of the north of England for commonwealth games but every penny spent in Manchester thieving scum.

There was a Lasher who used to come on here about 4 years ago and he said that if I was 62 then my username was wrong , it should be Ando62 😂😂
Best bit was, he was quite nasty about it, and called our dearly loved hat trick hero a thick cunt, or something very similar. Irony at its superb best.

Surely, then, the EPL should reciprocate and place sanctions on Bournemouth for their EFL misdeeds?
I think there are rules in place were you can’t use current rules to impose sanctions on clubs they have be dealt with using the rules during those periods and I think Bournemouth got a fine for there misdemeanours which in the grand scheme of things was probably worth it as they look like an established premier league club now.
