Here here. Don't understand why there isn't one.

Unfortunately this has already been dismissed out of hand by the mods - obviously they'd rather see the main board clogged up.

It would be useful for visiting Scousers, also.

More like once a week, obituary section would be ideal so those of us who don't particularly feel the need to express false grief for some fucker we've never met in our lives could avoid it like the plague.

So the mods enjoy merging/deleting/editing threads but this sort of shite gets free rein? It's probably the most deserving subject of having it's own section.

Not at all Shaky, as you know, it's not all mods who do the above.

I personally find the above a pain up the arse and not at all enjoyable.

I have actually suggested what you are asking for in the past, and it was decided that it wasn't required.

I thought the "Beta Team" were to have a say in how things are now run? It seems more and more like a dictatorship on here every day!!

I would set it up as a 'Death' section, with sub-boards the following:

'Obituaries'

'Condolencies'

'Forthcoming Events' - where people could post information on funerals, memorial services, charity events, etc. - or even plan for forthcoming deaths.

It could be very useful IMHO.

The friends brother, who is a pne fan too, registered on the site the other day and was pleased to see the thread. He actually got something positive form what he saw.
