He's in Greyfriars now and has just ordered his continental breakfast of croissant and grapefruit, washed down with a small fresh orange juice. Mind those pips and pith, Nobber.

I had him down as a Full English and pint of Guinness man !!!!

I literally will be raising a glass to my Dad today, timed for when the game kicks off. It was he who introduced me to PNE.

Nice one Phil.....

I had to do it the hard way.... My Dad never encouraged me to watch North End - he used to go and watch Blackpool one week and the Nobbers the week after !!

He had no allegiance to either - he just went to watch the quality that was Tom Finney and Stanley Matthews........

I had to be a self taught Nobber !!!

That is disgusting...

They should be reported to the EFL - it was blatant opportunism when they played us knowing it was our Gentry Day !!

Which totally validates, as much as I wanted to go, my reasons for not going.

Yes i totally see and agree with your principled stand, i feel a little disappointed with myself for having succumbed.

Having said that my pain is relieved slightly by the fact that we had an absolutely BRILLIANT day 🙂🙁

It rubs salt in the wound, certainly. I paid £30 and I will probably be paying more at QPR and Sheff Wed but this is England 2018.... you pays your money and takes your choice. I even paid £4.35 a pint in the Yew Tree at Anglezark for Bodds before the game ...however

£30 a match ticket
£4 a pint
A freezing cold afternoon....

.... watching Maguire make it 3 - fucking priceless!!!

It is. And it's also staggering that they're charging a relegation rival that price as well. I'm sure B'ham will now bring many more than they would have done.

I hope Birmingham do bring plenty and stuff the cunts.

Money-grabbing, leeching bastards!

Here is how they have priced their home games (lower tier) so far...

Cat A (£30): PNE, Villa, Hull, Leeds
Cat B (£28): Sunderland, Fulham, Barnsley, Norwich, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Boro, Derby
Cat C (£26): Bristol City, Ipswich, Cardiff, Burton, QPR
Cat D (£15: Birmingham, Reading, Brentford

Despicable football club but sadly unless the Football League start to show some sort of interest in ticketing costs then they will carry on taking the piss.
