2 weeks and one game is not enough time to fix the fitness issues and fully implement Grezza's stamp on the team. We won't be relegated, I'm sure Grezza will prevent that. Now, finishing above 18/19th with the hole he started in . . . that's a different story.

We probably need 49 more points to stay up. Over 37 games that's already approx 1.35 points per game. And can only see that increasing after this week's 2 games.
It's really looking pretty bleak atm.
The mad thing is I actually dont think the squad is that bad. But I suppose results says otherwise

We had 6 players missing on Saturday. Maybe Gibson returns tomorrow to replace Clarke, but still 6 down.
We had Potts and McCann long term injuries before the window closed and we signed 2 crocks in Kenny and Wiley.
We failed to add players we desperately needed.
We cannot push the rest of the squad too hard for risk of losing anymore compounded by having a League 2 level academy.

All pretty superficial this stuff though sadly. See Ryan Lowe for how quickly giving it large to the fans wears off if the team isn’t performing.Bringing the fans with you is a really important part of the job, to be fair.
It doesn't win you football matches, but it helps.
And sadly I can’t see how purely having a club legend in the dugout is going to compensate for the dross and probable relegation we’re going to endure this season.

This was something that worried me on Saturday. I thought that with it being Grezza's first game that the crowd might be better and the atmosphere might actually improve. Other than the players walking out and the reception for GA, it was as soulless and silent as always.I find it quite depressing going on Deepdale, yesterday was first game I’d been looking forward to in ages. The place has become pretty soulless, the entertainment value on offer is zero. To still be seeing a back 3 line up is so crap. I am bored to tears watching us.
I completely understand that the football was uninspiring and crap and has been for years, but I did have some hope that as a fanbase we might have a bit more about us and try and get behind the players more than we did on Saturday. I think what @JK does is very impressive but ultimately, pre-match stuff is fairly irrelevant if everyone is just gonna sit on their hands for 90 minutes.
Sadly, it seems that the years of shit has just allowed the apathy to seep into all corners of the club and I don't think that there will be anything to bring it back until a takeover happens. I also think that a relegation wouldn't be the worst thing in the world as long as the takeover does happen. If we can get Zedan in, spend some money in January and Summer and have a successful (hopefully promotion) season in League One, that could be the full re-set the club needs.
Just look at Ipswich and Birmingham as recent examples. Stagnation for years in the Championship under owners that didn't give a fuck, they both went down, got a takeover and came storming back with better crowds, better atmospheres and better football.
Obviously, I know there's the risk that a relegation just ends Zedan's interest, we may not get back up straight away but quite honestly, I don't think there's a hope in hell of us staying up this year so we better fucking pray that it gets done ASAP.
Presume BCFC was Brechin City? So you’d wonder what he was doing poking his nose in anyway. That’s Window Cleaners for you.Bit of a strange comment from your window cleaner really.
It’s not easy to turn around anything instantly, not least something which has been heading in the wrong direction at a steady pace for some years.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
This managerial appointment needed to be an elite one for us to have had any chance to get out of this mess, it wasn't elite and in reality it was never going to be. I've no doubt GA will give it absolutely everything he's got, and I'm fairly sure that everything he's got wont be enough.
The squad is diabolical, I've no idea where you'd start in trying to fix it.
Let's just give up then 🙄

The thing is......we are being kept in the dark and NOT even being fed Bullsh*t.earlier poster said its not happening
The man to tell us anything is silent, apart from one-single straw to clutch , about 2 months ago.
He couldn't even tell us about the Club approaching Grezza-:that came from the Bradford website. Pitiful.

Why the hell did we let the Hemmings andRidsdale take over this once proud club. We would have been better going into administration than having to endure season upon season of shit.
Two things that immediately spring to mind (but there were many)....Because we hoped to back our club with our loyalty by selling shares for tuppence.......... Years and years later with further perhaps less serious incidents occurring in between some of the most dedicated football supporters I've ever come across in my life backed the " Ingol " project and got stiffed again big time............... Some of these people don't believe in " once bitten twice shy " because it's PNE that's important not the dodgy feckers running it.... That's why John. And you know what ? Many of the same supporters are still in it up to their eyeballs. Fair play to them.
Earlier posted just speculated it wasn't happening.earlier poster said its not happening
I thought the Days of people believing everything they read was long gone!! 🙂

I thought the atmosphere was slightly better. A bit of respect for the new management team. A 0-0 would have been progress... but no sign of being able to turn it around once behind. At least more stayed to the end than recent matches under ph. With this squad GAs dot a difficult job on his hands.
