That Steven smith is one of the worst full backs I’ve ever seen. Not only was he injured a lot I remember a game against shef united were Matt Phillips literally ran rings around him. They scored 4 goals and all down his side. Atrocious player.

Think the way it works that the severance pay/compensation would get reduced by any pay received during the 12 months after the termination. Maybe Hecky and McCall are happier to have some time off effectively not losing any income as compared to working. Then again a big risk getting another decent position and the longer you leave it, the harder it gets.
