Has Billy turned us down?

Has Billy turned us down?

I must admit only terrible memories of winning matches and how to kill gamnes off. Much to the dismay of the opposition, having a full Englandf international on the books as well, shocking!

The England international played shit ever since that game.

Billy did sign Sedgwick though and he was ace.

I was convinced BD would have been in place for tomorrows forum with the Riddler, could it be there is a problem with his backroom staff and the costs involved? I will be gutted if we dont get him.

I hope the jock turd never darkens our doors again

Your taking the piss right. What the hell makes you think he would come back here...ow rumors site & the press. Must be right because we could really afford him even if he was daft enough to want to apply

would he arrive in a helicopter - like he did at derby?

Reading about Ridsdale's comments on the radio this morning, about cutting costs and selling our best players, I wonder was he even offered the job!!

Smoke and Mirrors .
We will go for the cheapest option .
Davies will not come knowing he has to sell the best players in January .

A thought:

PR announces Billy Davies at the forum, so throwing the whole evening into a love fest broadcast live on Radio Lancashire.

Be some marketing if that could be pulled off?

Winning football games was really painful to watch! Give me 'boring, painful' football and two top six finishes in a row compared to anything else we've seen since.

Don't get me wrong, Davies is a good manager who gets results and is preferable to the dross served up by Irvine and Brown, and Simpson once he had lost it. But on the other hand I would much prefer to watch the type of football employed by Moyes, Peters, Magrath and even when it occasionally worked Craig Brown (eg West Ham away, Burnley at home) than the dull fare served up by Davies.

Saying that to gain promotion from this division I would understand Davies being appointed as long as the deal and backroom staff is right, but then if he isn't signed up I wouldn't be dismayed.

In fact whoever is appointed they would have my full support until it is fair to make a judgment on their performance.

We actually did play some excellent football under Davies as well, particularly in his first season when we were one of the best footballing sides in the division. Granted his second we got more "efficient".
