Mum (to be) is doing fantastically well, she's been a rock for me lately. Of course we both have our ups and downs but she's been truly brilliant throughout.

Hopefully baby comes within the next week so that I get as much time with it before cycle 2.

I love that you called them it. Made me smile as I remember doing the same.

Before you know it you’ll all be good. Count the hours off, then the days. It will come good 😉

Remember to give your nurse a ring if they start to get sore. The treatment is gonna make you open for oral thrush so they can give you antifungals to cover

i absolutely love your strength and you have that in abundance, keep going it’s difficult and horrible at times but the end result is so worth it. Sending love to you all.
 
Having a real struggle concentrating recently. Several times I've gone to post a message on the forum and not posted because it makes no sense. Frustrating me really.

They've given me some medication for oral thrush, cheers @OB1 (what's with the name change?), so hopefully that clears in the next couple of days.

My partner is going for a haircut in 30 minutes, giggling to myself that she's booked herself in the day after her due date.

Chemo brain. Common side effect, don’t worry too much about it if you can

Good about the thrush. Name change was just privacy for guests

You're proving to a lot of people that fighting this shit is possible. keeping your chin up more than I could dream of in your situation, you are an inspiration.

This thread might be the basis for a book someday... 🙂

Absolutely nothing, nearly a week overdue now! We're both doing fine, I've had Saturday, Sunday and Monday feeling not so bad which is a massive positive.

Hair started falling out this weekend, I've got a patchy beard and thinning hair now. Once the hair looks ridiculous it will get shaved off, exposing my alien shaped head.

Looks like today might be the day folks. After a panic about lack of movements last night we went to hospital to get checked out. Everything was fine but the machines picked up that Charlotte had started contractions.

Those contractions have got more powerful through the night and a lot more constant.

Unfortunately for me, it's a chemo day. I'm back at hospital at 9.30am and 1.30pm today. Not what I need, although I will explain my situation when I get there and see if anything can be hurried along.
