Talk about laying all your cards on the table! To drop your experienced left back onto the bench for a young lad who's never played before,, to leave your new signing Garner on the bench along with Beavon to change your midfield.... So for me and considering we went 2-1,down you have got to give credit to the players and the manager for showing resilience and strength of character!

I believe we created a but of unwanted history today going so many home games without a win, but to be honest it feels like a win. It also felt like the deepdale we know today great atmosphere. Enjoyed the game. Let's hope we can build on this!

Exactly surf. The atmosphere was better for a change. Perhaps all the moaning cunts have decided to stay away?

Anyway, motm for me was a toss up between cummins, Davies and stuckmann.

I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the line up. I could only see an away win and a comprehensive one at that! A 17 year old centre half on debut at left back? No Welsh, Beavon or Garner either but to be fair to the lads on the pitch, they put a real shift in and showed fabulous character after going behind.

I also thought the fans that were there got behind the team today. The first goal helped but we backed them and cheered them on and we picked up an unlikely point. Lets hope we can build on it.

I saw Risdale outside the ground, I said. What's with the crazy team selection? He said, what crazy team selection? I said have you not seen the team? he said yes yesterday and laughed then walked off.

Is this a serious article? We were dreadful, could have been buried after 20 minutes and if it wasn't for stuckman it could have been a cricket score.

If it wasn't for a goalkeeper doing his job you mean? Hmm... Should he have let them in to appease you then?

dont think its brave, its stupid at is best the guy has not got a clue, only yesterday he spouts how good in time and a run together beavon and gardner will get??????????this from day one he came in and said bailey wright impressed him, what did he do,?put him on transfer list, think i rest my case and judgement on the tool.........

I don't know about "cards on the table" Surf, it sounds more like a desperate last throw of the dice to me. That's not a criticism, just an observation.

If we win he's a genius, if we lose he gets the chop. As it was, a draw will buy him another game, but the worst run of home results in our history would be enough to get any other manager the sack. Surely, it's only a matter of time now.

That's the point mare I thought like everybody else" what the fuck" when.I saw the team sheet and if it wasent for Stuckman it would have been out if sight but the grew as a team after that; good passing good movement and un the end were pushing on. Yes were clutching at straws and I for one won't bat an eyelid if he went tomorrow the manager that is, but you gave to say it as it is. It was brave team selection and we deserved our point.

I heard the team news as I was driving down the M6, heard that Beavon was on the bench and nearly came off the next junction and turned home. Fortunately I didnt catch that Garner wasnt there aswell because im sure I would have done so if Id heard that.

When I saw the pitch I felt like crying, if im honest, what a mess and then saw the team, I honestly thought, "Westleys taking the piss out of us here." The young lad, when he came out, looked just that, young and the way we started the game I was waiting for the inevitable moment when they took the lead. Early doors they battered us but Stuckmann was excellent in goal pulling off a number of decet saves.

We scored out of the blue, weirdly my rection wasnt to jump up and cheer like normal but I just said, "Bloody Hell," in total surprise.

Whoever said confidence doesnt play a massive part in the game needs to have a total rethink because from the moment we scored we looked the better team although it was inevitable theyd equalise, which they did. I honestly thought that 2nd half we`d just fall apart but in fairness to them even after coventry went ahead they stood there and more than matched them punch for punch.

For me, anyway, a hugely enjoyable game with what was actually a decent point for a change.

Graham Westley will forever remain a total puzzle to me though.

I agree. One save in the first half was a very good one, the other ones I'd expect Stuckmann to save.

Bob on. We have a keeper for a reason and that's to stop shots.

In not quite sure why people think that using stats to say we got battered with shots on target then say that the same stats are crap when we come out on top in them and don't win.

We weren't great, lets not glaze over it, but by Christ we were better than we've been for the last few home games.
