Dream on Danny...😎Imagine what he could do under a competent hierarchy.
Is Lowe evolving?
Embarrassing what would it take to make you happyHow had Sunderland done before us?
How did Brizzle get on today?
Acting like we’ve beat Leicester, fucking Sheff Wed.

Things haven't changed. We saw results like this throughout last season. We were pragmatic whilst RL maintained that we were working towards "the brand". It's far from his fault by the way. Anyone getting results with this squad is doing a great job and I salute him.
2/3 bad results and the perspective will change. And they'll come. Give the man what he needs. Today we were on the whole average but we ground it out. We still lack quality and when we come up against the top teams we'll come undone.
This forums extremely erratic. For me we finish lower midtable with the current squad which is what the board expects/wants. We are threadbare to say the least. 2 or 3 signings we give ourselves a fighting chance.
Every credit to RL. For me we can't expect more with the current resources.

I think we look better with Keane and Mads in the starting line up and Browne, Lindsay, Hughes and Potts actually playing well instead of either being 5/10's or 6/10's.
It also helps we have a seriously good postman from LWB at the moment, but his game is limited by not being able to attack 1v1 or defend 1v1.
We'd have lost the Sunderland game last season, we would have lost the BC game last season and we would probably have beat Sheff Wed or drawn last season.
It's early days but we seem slightly different this season, we're creating more and nullifying the opposition as usual.
Riis, Whiteman, Evans, Cannon and a LWB + RWB and I think we're setup for a good go this season.
As our ourselves. 👍The Sunderland win was a good result but worth noting that they were playing with Dack up front rather than a striker. Think they're still looking for a striker in the transfer market
Welcome back cha.Threadbare squad, grinding points, anyone who doesn't give him credit isn't a North End fan.
Don’t buy it but it’s come from Euxton. And even some fans call him Scouse westley. Not buying that, think there was definitely some bickering towards the end of last season because of how we went about the important games like Swansea and Millwall but we had real momentum and i think having that fire in the belly to be passionate about winning is vital to success.
End of day he doesn’t have to be liked, but he does probably have to be respected to get the most out of the group. So like I say, doing ok considering the jury’s out.
Personally think the clothes do him no favours give me moyes anyday

Learning how to grind out a result and seeing the game out so early in the season is a great platform to build on. We have 5-6 quality bodies yet to come back or come in. They will do well to break into the side right now anyway. Its further injuries that worry me, our main Achilles heal.I think results may be masking things a bit. The team on paper certainly feels a bit weaker than the one that ended last season (not RL's fault, been messed about by Everton and some more shite injury luck).
I think Wednesday are poor and Sunderland felt a lucky game. However, I hope the OP is right. I think the new players have perhaps freshened things up. Like Mads, like Keane, Best has his limits at his age but the crossing is just fucking outrageous. That alone gets the attention of big clubs.
Christ, I think if he gets us within a sniff of the top 6 this season he's done well and I don't care about the brand.
Will a new LWB just come straight in and replace Best, not so sure now! That left foot is one of our main weapons.

I genuinely, genuinely hope so. Would be a really cracking start if we win the next game. There really is no obvious replacement for Lowe so whilst he remains not the most Popular of PNE managers, everyone may as well back him.

I'm not sure about "evolution". That would be the case if we had put two or three past a poor Sheffield Wednesday outfit which struck me as clueless and very poorly managed. On paper, they have some good players at this level.
What we are seeing is genuine resilience and better game management, including the use of subs that was pretty much spot on yesterday. As was the case last season, we are more than good enough to see off the dross in this league and on a good day we can compete with the better sides. If we can do the latter more consistently, that would be genuine evolution.
We are still some way off. I watched the Plymouth/Saints game before we kicked off, and I have to say that the quality in that game was some way above that on show at Hillsborough. Nevertheless, there are plenty of promising signs at this early stage, and you cannot argue with 7 points out of 9.

Agreed. I thought the game was quite shite overall. I did think to myself, how many sides are like this at this level? However, if we win against all of the losers and grind out draws with the Southamptons and Leicesters then we will do well enough.

I suspect one thing easily underestimated with Lowe is his ability to attract players. I don’t think it’s any coincidence he bought out the best of Archer from the shadows, and Cannon wants to come back and develop his career (can you imagine that with some of our recent and former managerial incumbents?) . I know Archer’s head was turned by a former Villa coach of his at Villa - but nonetheless. -
Being 5th in the league at this early stage, and having started well - let’s enjoy the progress. If we keep last years away from - and sort out the home form (easier to fix?) - we are going to be there and thereabouts. It is now for the owners to step up however. The bench is thin, and the attrition rate during the season will no doubt affect a smaller squad.

People who judge a manager on the clothes he wear’s are embarrassing. Get a grip!
I don’t get the Lowe bashing to be honest.
- he wears white trainers
- his clothes don’t do him any favours
- he is on sky sports
- Scouse westley
When he first joined, the fanbase was creaming itself .. we’d poached an up and coming young manager from a progressive club, he was passionate and got the fans buzzing…I don’t think he has done much wrong to have fans against him - finished in a respectable league position with what many consider spies poor squad.
In my opinion, I think he is good in the transfer market - he hasn’t made a bad signing yet (some would argue Woodburn but he’s exactly the type of player we should be signing).
When I think of the money other teams spend and have available that we outperform, I think he is doing a great job with what he has.
White trainers and clothes - I could not care less if he rocks up in a mankini on the sidelines if he is doing a good job —- I cannot for the life of me understand this argument about what he wears????

I wear White Adidas Gazelles.
Gaffer has taste.
Gaffer has taste.
Why don’t we ask Ken and see what he thinks? Always seems to go missing when we win but is on here like a tramp on chips as soon as we lose.
Lowe needs to go after Saturday.
I wanted him to be backed but he wasn’t. But what’s apparent now is he is so far up Ridsdales ass his face is often full of shit.
He is a yes man.
His bull shit in interviews is becoming tiresome now.
I did like Ryan. I wanted him to succeed here with backing. But his alienating of the fans over the past few weeks is just something I just can't take to and something I have never seen before at PNE.
Ryan has burnt any bridge he ever had with PNE fans and for that he's a twat.
Sorry I'm on holiday and didn't realise I have to check in all the time. My Mistake.
You obviously think Lowe is evolving, not evolving, evolving, not evolving, evolving, not evolving, evolving............ To Quote Eminem..Will the real RibbletonWhite 2.0 please stand up, please stand up
I could go on but I won't
We've done well the first 3 games. Not pulled up any trees and Sunderland and Sheffield weds could have gone either way I think we all know that.
I said start of the season I'll give him till November and hope he succeeds. I stand by that.

You notice the three posts you quoted me in all came in the same week. I will stand by the fact that any manager who calls out the fans is a twat.
Anyway he has built bridges since that nkw by trying to get the fans on sides more.
He still hasn’t been backed.
Also you don’t need to check in the time. It just seems you go very quiet when we win but as soon as we lost to Stockport you was quick tk remind every one it was 0 wins in 7 but when we win you give him 0 credit. Same last season as well. Making up bull shut rumours to try and turn the fans against him. It’s all just agenda driven nonesense.
At least I have the balls to change my opinion rather than sticking with the same bullshit just because he wears white trainers. 😂😂😂
