If this is true then it appears that TH is after as much of his money back and as soon as possible,,,,with wallace gone, rumours that SSL is being offered to anyone with a couple of million and now lonergan alledgedly going will there be anyone left.....the squad being assembled is going to be as weak as piss. Henderson is not good enough. Bang goes the theory that TH would be bankrolling us....basically everybody worth any fees is for sale. Hope these youth players are good enough to keep us up but I doubt it. Hope to be proved wrong though

I don't think it's about TH wanting his money back, I think he wants to make the club stand on its own two feet and not need him to bankroll it. Once he's done this its more attractive to investors. At the moment PNE can't sustain itself without his help as we pay out far too much in wages!

Isn't Scott Carson at WBA and his he not their captain?? Is Lonergan going as a bench warmer then a bit like Nash did. If Lonergan does go then we will need to invest in a new keeper not really seen enough of Hendo although he has done Ok when I've seen him. A good up and coming young keeper would be best if Lonners does indeed go.
 
Some on this forum got it very wrong over Paul McKenna. Never considered Andy Lonergan the finished article but he is v good at this level and I suspect we could be weaker for his departure.
