So over the last 26 years and a bit more, for managers who were in post for more than a month, in the league Heckinbottom is the 4th worst in terms of points per game and the 3rd worst in terms of win percentage. In very recent history Neil, McAvoy and Lowe had better records. He's had 92 games, 2 full seasons. He's been financially backed better than any manager I remmber.

You make your own mind up, but I think enough is enough.

The answer is that I want him gone now.

Stepping back, I realise we have done this once before, 2 years ago - Lowe "walked", Heckingbottom came in and could only get Bowler in before the window shut.

The "club signing" in the interim was Okkels (shudder).

Heckingbottom leaving now would destabilise our window, one where we finally look like we can spend.

If we've backed him with the players we are now linked to and things don't improve before the international break, he has to go.

International break for me

He had us third in the league in January and I think if he’s backed this week he’ll do alright.

If he keeps playing those useless cunts at the back then I want him gone!

Many managers do not excel in their careers after leaving PNE. Moyes and Davies are the only ones. You have to do really well at north end to get noticed.
Hecky is on a tight rope and got lucky when PR called him for the job while lying on the beach!

Who ever voted ‘has until January’ clearly wants us relegated. The guy has had two seasons. Most clubs would have sacked him now. Honestly managing us is the easiest job in the world - turn up each week, get paid, continue to do shit, stay here forever.

Given the options, full season shouldn't be a choice.
If it's shit, then you're long gone.
January is too late if it's that bad.
International break is probably too soon to make a difference so despite my normal PH backing, there's only one option left.

Paul Simpson won the World Cup!

It's genuinely incredible that he hasn't been sacked.
