Just a little thought - during the course of this season we actually beat the team that won the Championship play-off. OK they changed their manager shortly after and became a tougher side - but we beat them all the same.

The two teams who made the final were the only Championship sides we played this season.

Thanks - yes I had forgotten about the League Cup game. I seem to remember that we played well and coulf have got a result in that game as well with a bit of luck.

Nothing is going to beat that for me.

Nothing.

What a day, what a match, what a way to do it.

Over the past 2 seasons we've played Blackpool, Burnley, Ipswich (x2), Forest (x2) , Middlesbrough, Norwich who were all championship teams.

Win: 3
Draw: 2
Lost: 3

With the exception of one, all good standard championship teams as well.

To be fair, the Lasher side that we beat made quite a good start to that particular season.

It was that decent run that kept them up.

Watching the cup final it's still so surreal we where there just over a week ago, I know there wasn't as many of us but was still a very special day

Stadium staff remarked that it was one of the loudest supports at a play-off final, even though it was under capacity.

We held a celebration party last night to maintain the sense of achievement - marquee etc

This time last weekend, I was in Coast To Coast at Wembley eating a Burger that set me back £12.

Tasted ok I suppose, it filled me up.

Then, it was back to The Corner House for more Cider and Black.

Old thread I know, but didn't want to start a new one. As it was 3 years ago since this day and there are quite a few posts on social media about it. It has reminded me of a video from this day, it was when Kilkenny (I think) was taking a corner and the sky camera was pointing at the crowd and you can see all the bottom tier just bouncing and it looks great. I saw the clip on youtube but unable to remember the name of the video. Is anyone able to post a link to said video?
