It’s just cope.

They bring more to Deepdale than we take to Ewood: they’re massive, we’re shite.

We take more to Ewood than they bring to Deepdale: it’s our cup final, big day out.

They all play “it’s not a derby” card until they win. Not a derby but gave Dolan cult hero status for scoring against us.

Biggest bunch of plastic wetties in the EFL. Any of them west of Hoghton, bought and paid for by Uncle Jack, the weakest of men, bipedal jellyfish.
 
In fairness I’m not surprised they play it down. I would too if I kept getting beat in these games.

That said, It’s not really a rivalry for me, Blackpool and Burnley (pre their time in the prem) have always been the main rivals but still always look forward to this fixture because its produced so many good moments in recent years.
 
Where is everyone parking tonight? Last time I drove to Deadwood I parked in a housing estate to be clever that was miles away and I forgot to mark down the street name so it took ages to find my car

So any better suggestions would be welcome?
 
I genuinely dont consider Rovers as a local rival match etc
Rovers v Burnley or Wigan yes
Its Blackpool for us so thats my excuse and also its on tv....

Getting a minibus but last few years we’ve parked up the road next to the Golden Cup, always managed to find a space
