I don't really know yet is the honest answer, and your point about there being a spectrum of different types of supporters is a good one. The view of someone who's a long term season ticket holder is infinitely more valuable than someone who just watches occasionally on TV for example.

It'll be down to my judgement and others in the FAN I guess, but there are a few ways of getting access to fans opinions and needs, one being PNE online. One thing I had in mind was to run occasional polls on here.

Well if selected as one of the candidates I can assure you that there is a lot of topics already waiting to be delivered on and hopefully your view point will change. We can but see.

You win some, you lose some. My only point is that it can make a difference. I know you've done similar before and have reasons to be sceptical but given the chance I'll give it a go anyway.

I think Bill is talking about some of the posts earlier on in this thread, where we had an exchange.

Listen, I'm tongue in cheek on here 90% of the time, and certainly don't need anyone fighting any battles for me. Billy's a mate and has had my back for 20 odd years through rough and smooth, but I wish you well. I'm responsible for hundreds of staff at work and accountable for the safety of thousands and hear worse every single day 🤣

"This sort of thing" isn't for me any longer because it's a thankless task and to make a real difference you need a lot of time to spare, drive and balls of steel to challenge the status quo as John K, Ben A and several others knocking around on here will attest to.

Thanks Danny. I do remember that but it was just a misunderstanding from me for which I apologised and we ended it amicably.

Agree. I wouldn’t do owt like it anymore either. I am a passionate supporter as are you, Bill and plenty of others but I’m 73 now and my own gob is big enough to let folk know what I think is amiss without going through a pile of tripe meetings, and trust me, I use it.

It's a bit flawed that apparently have to vote for 9, even though it says "up to 9". Feels like it forces a lot of random votes.

I've emailed the club as the process isn't consistent with what they said, so maybe if you haven't voted, wait until after tomorrow in case they're able to charge it. Although it would also be flawed to change the process midway through tbh. Not ideal either way.
