Confirmed PNE Sign - Milos Lukovic (Loan)

Yep, people are fucking clueless. He was very good today, won loads of good flick ons and held the ball up a lot better than normal. Not sure what they want from him!
We spend most of the game clipping it into the channels for him like he's some greyhound. For some reason some fans have latched onto him as he doesn't bring it down turn and play a pass everytime.

I don’t think he played that bad at all. Showed good strength against Ogilvie who went down like he’d been shot.

Movement was good in the box for the goal to create space for Devine.

Granted it was hardly a worldie performance but I’m not convinced it was a hook him at half time job either.

U can usually tell if a player has something about him and tbh I know it’s early days but I think he’s got a long way to go before he’s good enough at this level.

Agreed. Still very young and will no doubt have a more than solid career but to bring him in as an impact loan for 4 months is bizarre. Zero experience in English football and still raw. Clearly taken a punt that he happens to hit the ground running but its a tall order. Not really expecting anything of him.

He didn't look comfortable on our cabbage field pitch.🥴

He’s an available player who ran the channels and pressed pretty well.

Hopefully will sharpen up with game time, but looked well off the pace otherwise

Really ??

Were you at the same game as me ??

His first 3 or 4 involvements ended in fouls to Portsmouth….…
Because they went down like a sack of spuds and the ref bought it everytime.

He's there to battle so naturally fouls will be given. Can't think of a single header he missed today which then after that is the job of everyone else to get onto the second ball. Felt he also provided a body to help the midfield get up the pitch which we weren't getting from Lukovic.

He is experienced which is key for games like today where we weren't at our best and needed to get the job done.

Even though I agree he wasn’t great I don’t think him giving away fouls is an awful thing.

It breaks the game up and stops them from building any momentum.

We were far too easy to play against over the last few seasons so stuff like this I don’t actually mind and shows a little bit of nouse. .

Hopefully he'll get better with more game time, a few times he wanted the ball to feet when we played it long, seems to be on a different wavelength to the rest of the squad at the moment, that'll come with time, the only issue is, he wont have that much time with only 15 games to go
