Confirmed PNE Sign - Milos Lukovic (Loan)

He’s an available player who ran the channels and pressed pretty well.

Hopefully will sharpen up with game time, but looked well off the pace otherwise
Yes, I thought his movement was good but the fact he only touched the ball twice shows we failed to find him. If he’d touched the ball a dozen or so times and consistently lost the ball, I’d have been a little concerned about his potential for the loan but you can’t judge a player on both 45 minutes and also 2 touches.

I don't really know why he got hooked. We were breaking well up until half time. The one where Small and him were nearly through but their keeper did really well with it. On another day, that's his debut goal and he's a superstar.

The one on one for Moran was perhaps more worrying for me. Woodburn vibes🤣

Joke! 🤣🤔

Hopefully proved wrong but looked extremely lightweight.Portsmouth centre backs weren't particularly big for the championship but he got absolutely nothing out of them.
Right substitution at half time. Thought Smith won far more and made more of an impact.

Christ almighty Lukovic written off already after 45 minutes in the white shirt get a grip
Not writing the guy off, however it's clear that he's going to need time to adapt - both on and off the field I imagine.
This guy isn't a project signing though...he's here for 4 months only and needs to hit the ground running.
Felt like a strange signing, and that was emphasised yesterday.

He had two touches. Wasn't in the game at all (not entirely his fault) and looked like he needed to adapt to the speed and strength in the Championship.

He may well be a good finisher/fox in the box type but hopefully that 45 minutes was a good way for him to see what's going to be required from the rest of his game.

He probably wasn't going to start without the injury to Jebbo and hasn't played any football really for a couple of months.

Hopefully that's a way for him to learn and also be protected by Hecky. Smith also helped us see the game out and kept the ball up their end of the pitch.

Hope he proves folk wrong but what an odd signing to make for a short term loan deal.

Not even making the match day squad.
Spot on. It’s always said, make allowances for foreign players, especially young ones, and give them time to adapt to a new country, style of play etc. Yet we sign a lad for 15 or so games then the manager says will take him time we haven’t got to get used to the English game
