I’ve nearly finished Manic MinerF
funny old thing computer games
Each to there own
To me it seems like very large amounts of time spent with absolutely no output but I am of an age where they came out well into when I had kids so I simply didn’t have the time even if I wanted to. And still don’t
Progress
Just to complete your collection why not get 1 of each, burn them and put the ashes of the 3 shirts in your collection? 😁Just reading all of these messages has certainly put a smile on my face. You lovely bunch!!
Guess it can come down to being a bit insecure about yourself at times. There's always been a hesitation to talk about things I'm passionate about as I worry what others think but I'm becoming more confident in myself which is good.
Thanks again all!
P.S No Blackpool, Burnley or Blackburn shirts will ever be added to the collection!
This suggestion comes from a 33yr old who likes football and video games. 👍

On the subject of obscure football shirts, I've got a San Lorenzo away shirt if any of you want it for free? Size Large.
It's literally brand new and just been hung in my wardrobe. My 2nd team are San Lorenzo so I ordered it from Argentina 2 years ago to wear when I play 5 a side, but I've retired now and have never worn it or never will do so might as well hand it over to someone who might appreciate it.
I'll post it out to you if any of you want it? If not I'll probably hand it off to charity or something at some point.

You're a legend, I do think Malcy16 would enjoy this shirt. I'm guessing he's not 5ft 6" like me so there's more chance of this fitting him.
What got you into San Lorenzo? I'm sure the Pope supports San Lorenzo.

No worries, if he wants it I'll happily send it him, or if he doesn't want it I'll send it anyone else who will appreciate it. It's just hanging in my wardrobe anyway and it's a shame because it's quite a nice looking top.
As for my interest in San Lorenzo.... I'm a massive fan of Argentinian football culture and have been over there a number of times to experience it. San Lorenzo were the first club I went to see over there and I never looked back. It's a different world over there, the passion and energy is mind-boggling.
Thank you but sadly wouldn't fit me either! - Thanks again though for the lovely gesture, its a nice shirt too!@daddyman16 @Malcy16

If you wanted to make some money from it then ClassicFootballShirts tend to buy shirts from you so you could always ask them and they'll give you a price I reckon?

No problem at all matey.
Tbh, I'll happily send it someone on here if they'd genuinely appreciate it and get a bit of enjoyment out of it and not just stick it on Ebay 😆😬

During lockdown I bought an Airfix kit - Messerschmitt Me109. I ‘ m not sure why - something for the winter evenings I suppose.
Nothing unusual about that except I hadn’t built a kit since 1969 - I’m now 63.
I can’t begin to tell you the absolute pleasure and relaxation I had ( I don’t stress anyway tbh) . With age I had more time and patience and when it was done and painted it looked fabulous.
Just be what you want to be - in a world of cruel judgment it’s more important than ever . If someone mocks you then they aren’t part of your life.
Some people hold the line , others succeed beyond belief , others do their own thing. I only judge people on their soul , nothing else ……and airfix models and football kits don’t come into the equation.

I don’t know what there’s like these days but they’re incredibly detailed. Needs a lot of dexterity to paint. My father in law collects and builds airfix and other models. He says he finds it relaxing too

They buy low and sell big I think. They bought a 1999 Man United kids home shirt off me on eBay and put it up for £50 or something.
I think I sold it for half that because it had some bobbling and the leather on the bit behind the zip was starting to flake.
Lovely shirt though.
Most of my buys have been from Classic Football Shirts - tend to wait for a 20% off sale though. They buy low and sell big I think. They bought a 1999 Man United kids home shirt off me on eBay and put it up for £50 or something.

Sold a bunch of shirts that I had when I was younger for about £150 from them

Nice! They are a good site to get obscure shirts from, I was actually going to buy the Xinjiang Tianshan Leopards away kit from there but they sold out of my size 😢
I was also after one of those random East Asian shirts, one of them was a special edition one celebrating denim or something like that, it looked quite cool.
I’ve used them to get a lot of the smaller Serie A team shirts. I’ve avoided Juve and the Milan’s because they are typically easier to come by.Nice! Picked up Sampdoria and Sassuolo this week. Sassuolo is a bit tight though so need to eat better. (After this bar of Dairy Milk whilst watching the NFL playoffs)
