RIP Shaky

RIP Shaky

RIP Shaky going to miss you more than words can say, very shocked.
Condolence to the family and friends

PNE disscusions should immediately be renamed in honour. Shaky's corner or Shaky's forum, anything, that will appear at the top of every page in honour of a football forum legend.

A colourful character and a good person, irrespective of whether you did or didn't always agree with him. Didn't know him as well as some on here but did go to a couple of away games with him on the train in 2001 and was excellent company.

I can imagine that he was a great Husband, Father and friend and he will leave all those close to him with some great memories and laughs.

RIP Shaky

Met Shaky a few times on my travels and shared a couple of pints with him to. Top, top bloke. So shocked by this. Condolences to the family and friends. R.I.P. mate.

My heart goes out to his family who I know will be devastated.

I don't really have much else to say at the moment.

Sorry fella.

RIP Dave

As I have said he will be deeply missed, maybe we can have one of the PNE-Online awards either re named after him, or just make a new one. It can be who has the best grammar.

RIP man.......gone too soon

It's true then Katie?

Just spent the last half hour on the phone to a few people that know him but no one could confirm it. I couldn't face turning on the pc... I was just hoping it was some kind of sick joke.

Give my love to Jacquie and Becky

RIP mate xx

Exactly, is it possible we have a minute of applause at the match on saturday?

I think somebody should get in contact with PNEFC official and get them to post this story so that people who didn't even know him, will be willing to give him a minute applause/silence on Saturday. I'd wait until his family agree to it though as they may not want to be making such a fuss over him.

we will have a match for him in two weeks time we play Leyton orient fans team and that for.him but we are willing to go one step further and play the former pne players team ill sort it if you will support it.

One of the best moments from Shaky also...

Really pissed off Boggers, didn't it?! 🙂

Just read the article again and it just makes me sad that a guy with such a great humour and passion (although he didn't like to admit it at times) has just left us just like that. Will be sorely missed. 🙁

I remember the photo of me and him and JK being taken. Was the day the WELL DONE DEREK phrase was coined.

Very sad news, as others on here have said totally different bloke off the forum.
Sunk a few pints with him at away games.
He will missed by all who knew him.

Condolences to the family.

R.I.P big fella.
