RIP Shaky - a true character on here and it will certainly be a duller place without him and my thoughts are with his family. Would a whip round to either do something in his memory or to buy the family something on behalf of everyone from PNE-Online be appropriate?
 
r.i.p. shaky didnt know you personally but know his daughter, always made me grin some of his posts on here.
thoughts go out to his family and close friends x

I don't know if it's possible but I'd also suggest that the betting section (Lizard Lounge) should be renamed The Shaky Lounge (or something to this extent) so that he stays in the memories of PNE-Online members new and old.

Really can't believe this.

As others have said, strangely it feels like I knew the guy just from his posts on here. I'm sure he'll be up there now telling everyone how bad a keeper Lonergan is and about the ETC on here.

Never had a problem with him and he was obviously a decent bloke going off the people who knew him.

RIP Shaky and my deepest sympathies go to his family and friends.

I honestly can't believe. Always had our differences butI think we were always able to put them to one side at the end of the day.

This is twice now on forums I use where one of the central 'characters' of it all has passed away way before their time.

Heartfelt condolences to all his family at this time.
 
I didn't personally know him, my Dad and Aunty did! So as they aren't on here I'd like to pay there's and my respects! RIP Shaky!!

That'd be nice. One of my favourite moments from him (of recent memory) was when he totally ripped into one of Lonergan's friend. Don't know if we ended up deleting it though.
 
Absolutely terrible news, can't take it in. I never knew him but by all accounts he was a top bloke.

Many sympathies and condolences to his family.
