If the Club continues being run the way it is i only see us going downwards. A complete disgrace throughout. 😡

Only if Hemmings can find another yes man to replace him.

I`m not saying this as a knee jerk reaction to the filth going up but the WHOLE board should resign and the entire admin staff should be put on notice.

Derek cannot take us any further by his own admittance but there are people looking over his shoulder who have the connections but won`t lift a finger to help.
 
Yes but it won't happen for quite some time. The recent financial mess and the way fans have been made out to be fools with the season ticket price structure, for example, demonstrate the contempt he has for the man on the stands.
 
84.45 % of preston fans cant be wrong , can they ? did anyone send a copy of this result to Derek without a dout missing in action Shaw ? .

One things for certain though The Lashers getting promoted is not a valid reason for our chairman to resign.

Another thing with regards the winding up petition; even with the reporting restrictions due to being a PLC, the communication from the club has been extremely poor and has just served to worsen the general fans perceptions of the club. Even a bland general statement saying they are still working towards sorting the problem out and things are in hand every now and again would appease the less excitable amongst us.

Me the wife and 2 kids will not be renewing (£1100 saved ) or attending until this little shite fooks off.

It wont hurt as I dont recognise my club anymore.

Its like a divorce , someone you loved with all your heart changes beyond belief - you simply fall out of love with them.

Season ticket holder since 1971 btw

Derek said , i cant take this club any further , yet his close friends on here want him to stay and none of them will explain why , thoughts please ? .
 
im not his close friend. why should he resign till someone fit and proper to take over is available. whether its a TH appointment or whatever. to resign just because an internet mob[many who do not even go on north end] want him to. indeed to do so would be irresponsible.

Your missing my point i think , i rather have you down as wanting whats best for the club , not unlike myself . The real Question is Derek is fighting a battle he says he cant win and hes doing it with such financial restraints that its like having 1 arm up your back to fight Tyson . Don't you think Derek openly saying i cant take pne any further is because its time for him to stand down ? . Remember when we slipped into the old forth and we pulled gates of 3k ? well how many of these fans who claim to be life long will leave again if we fall ? . we will be back to 3 coaches everywhere we go instead of 8-900 like now , do you think we can go through that again ? .
 
yes to stand down, hold the fort, keep the show on the rd until someone better comes along etc etc. malcom woodhouse did that for 4 years until baxi came along

Why should the guy resign (Because of a internet mob?) What a ridiculous statement.

DS has been PR catastrophe. All you need to do is look into the statements he’s has made about the club prior to the winding up order. It was either “Where punching above our weight” or “Keeping our heads above water” He knew what the financial position was with the club, but instead decided to agree to extortionate players wages and fees.

Why wasn’t St Ledger sold to Celtic to balance the books.? If this had happened would we be in this financial mess.

I just don't think any pne chairman has had so much pressure placed on him by way of expectation and with so little at his disposal , this man has done a good job in many ways but now its time for a change also this will allow Derek a back seat from which he can enjoy his club and still have the input to help us progress .

To be far to Derek, Blackpool going up isn't his fault but the fact that we haven't pushed on is.

The administrative side of the club is woeful, and that has had a knock-on effect on the club as a whole. The season ticket fiasco being a case in point.
